一方通行が多いので駐車スペースを見つけるのに苦労した。車庫入れの訓練になった。部屋はシンプルだったが必要なものはすべて揃っていたのでよかった。朝食はフルブレックファーストにしたが、特に、焼いたマッシュルームの焼き加減がとてもGOODで美味しくいただけて感動した。また、部屋への出入口に番犬（シェパード）がいたので少々怖かったが、オーナーさんもしくは従業員の方が一緒に部屋へ案内いただいたら、一回で宿泊者を認識して、その後も吠えられることもなく、とても賢い犬と感じた。犬にまた会いたいな。機会を見つけてまた泊まりたいと思います。

Parking limited 2 -3 spaces and very awkward. Noisy , particularly boiler flue which must have been directly under my window

Alt i meget dårlig stand og meget ufleksibelt morgenmad. Vi kunne kun få morgenmad kl. 07:00, ikke f. eks. 07:30 😢 Så vi fik ingen morgenmad i tre dage.

Friendly staff and spacious rooms

Bed was very comfortable. Shower was powerful, bathroom clean. Walls, however are very thin, you can even hear people snoring. My room was just above the smoking area outside, which set the smoke alarm off. I came downstairs at 7.45 am, all doors were locked, so I couldn't have breakfast.

The room we had was over the bar and the music was intolerable .too many stairs up and down for older people. We had to leave and stay elsewhere

I had a great breakfast on my first morning, but for my second/last night, they forgot to be around to prepare my breakfast... Nevertheless, helpful and friendly staff. A very convenient stay in the old, centre of Bury, much enjoyed.

Room was ok shower door was broken we had bed and breakfast and had arranged with proprietor 8.30am we were told breakfast would be inthe bar.We turned upat 8.30 bar was locked we went back to the room and returned at 9.15 still the bar was locked so we went to witherspoons for breakfast returned at10.25 everywhere was still locked what on earth is going on with this place wil be complaining to greene king

Small room but very clean including bedding and ensuite.

Room was tiny and nowhere near worth £100. Heating was also not on with sub zero temperatures outside.

Smallest single room I have stayed in but bathroom good. Would have been ok if it was cleaned. Heating didnt work on one of the coldest nights, told guy behind bar, he came to check and said it should work now but he didnt really do anything to radiator that I hadnt tried. Room next door in and out all night until midnight. Horrible smell in corridors. Other than that had free on site parking and were friendly enough.

The single room was adequate for a one night stay. furniture was a bit dated and could go with updating. Breakfast was good, would stay there again.

Friendly staff. Presented to very well prepared accommodation. Clear instructions provided for opening and closing times for entry plus arrangements outside these times if required. Well done 👏

Room was quirky! The single bed was higher off the ground than you'd expect because a normal bed clearly would not fit in the space. It was adapted to go over some boxed in pipe works. Bedding was lovely and clean as were the towels. Shower/loo clean but there was a small leak from the pedestal basin. The heated towel rail did not heat and shows signs of being overdue for replacement. TV will only turn on or off using the SKY remote control. You cannot change channels so it's BBC1 or nothing. Breakfast was genuinely great. This is an old pub in an old town run by, what appears to be, one very hard working gent. Make allowances for the overall appearance of the place and you will be fine.

Clean room, comfortable bed, decent shower. Good cooked breakfast. Friendly staff and friendly locals in the pub.

Nice little pub with a few rooms. I had a single room which was cosy but perfect for the one night I stayed. Room was generally clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom looked like it had recently been renovated. Breakfast was a full english and was a good size and very tasty. The property is about a 5 minute walk from the town centre shops and eateries, and also close to St Edmondsbury Cathedral and the priory ruins.

Had to find parking a couple of streets away. Clean room and bathroom. TV was annoying to operate and poor sound. Plenty of teabags etc in the room, something that many places are stingy with. Breakfast was fab. Only one choice, full breakfast, but it was really good. Huge pot of coffee. Very happy with my stay.

Room was clean , bed was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very good all round . Could do with a little updating. Very close to the town centre.
