Food at the restaurant is really good.

Its a great property on the foot hills of Banasura Hills near Vellamunda. The staff are excellent and very friendly. I just loved the property. The property is bit away from Kalpeta(about 28 kms) and is away from almost all sightseeing places. So look that if you wish to do more sightseeing, you will need to travel a bit. The rooms are good and speciality is that they are made of mud and are very staying in a traditional place. If one loves nature and wishes to be inside a forest and relax, this is a good option.

If you are looking for a few days of peace of mind.. away from the noise of traffic etc. I would recommend you go to the Banasura Hill Resort. Its location is just awesome with good serene places to visit nearby. But its far from the other places that wayanad offers like the Caves, sanctuaries etc. Also, we took a lot of time getting there since there are hardly any signboards on the route from Calicut. +ves - location, service, Food -Ves - Not enough signboards on the way so takes time to reach
