We turned up very late so the guy working there was really helpful in getting us set up. The room was nice enough and you can see what they’re going for but the aesthetic choices they’ve made are detrimental to usefulness. The ornate bath on 4 legs and shower fittings look nice but your choices are either shower sat down or get water all over the place. It seems like a lot of people choose the second option as unfortunately there is a bit of a musty damp smell and the lack of ventilation in the bathroom means the moisture can only go into the room so there was quite a lot of mould in the room we were in, especially around the windows and a bit on the ceiling. Breakfast was really good, great general spread and then the cooked food was really good.

The weather made us have a drink outside before settling in for our pre booked table Its not the BELL's fault but having loud lorry's working within the field across the road throughout the night doesn't help a good night sleep ....(this wont be for ever so don't let this put you off your stay here)

The staff were friendly and helpful in recommending places to see. Breakfasts were delicious and got us off to a good start each morning.

I stayed a couple of nights and especially enjoyed my upstairs room with a nice view across the fields and road. It was pretty quiet altho the inn is right on the small road as others have mentioned. Mostly traffic around here time people come and go to work. Dinners were good. The managers are pleasant. Did not have breakfast so can't comment. The continental part was unexciting. I is convenient to Blenheim Park and Palace. IT is an historic building so all the rooms are different and a little querky.

Room was not clean, razor left in shower, vape pot by bedside etc. shower control unusable without male assistance! Staff apologetic etc, and helpful, but dissappointing

In the middle of nowhere, but only 10 minutes from the nearest park and ride into Oxford. A few extra minutes takes you to Bicster shopping village. After you are all shopped out The Bell wil serve you a nice pint and a very good dinner.

Great staff for the bar, restaurant and rooms make this a lovely place to stay. Food always very good and breakfast cooked to order. Really pleasant surroundings and bags of character in the bar and restaurant. Always cosy and welcoming.

I've stayed here multiple times & the rooms, staff & food are consistently fabulous.

Stayed before. Great service and nice breakfast. Had dinner that evening and food was good quality and hot. Room 8 does not have a shower, just a bath (lovely bathroom), so if you prefer a shower then let them know when you book. Will stay again for location, staff and value.

A cosy room and a comfortable bed. We enjoyed breakfast. The lounge was very nice and we enjoyed our evening meals. Staff were very attentive.

Very nice rooms and stay. However, no hot water in 2 of the rooms. This needs looking at for sure. Otherwise very nice

Great breakfast

Very comfortable stay. Friendly staff, nice room and handy to have parking, restaurant and bar nearby. Think we were given the wrong room type by staff, as we booked exec room but had a normal cheaper room, but nonetheless a nice stay.

Recommend this place 100% Room 8 small tweak required please look at the windows slight wind noise didn’t close 100%
