Room was very clean, but no hot water...

Desayuno limitado, el restaurante tenía pocas opciones de platos y no tenían los ingredientes base de algunos, permiten el ingreso de perros al restaurante lo cual es poco higiénico. Las camas duras y almohadas duras. Los perros no dejaban descansar a gusto

Very basic room. No TV, the heat was,a small electric space heater and middle of March it was 4°Celuis in the morning. One glass for 2 people, Nothing to do there. No trails, no pool, nothing. They have a bird garden but it is $10US/ person to get in. If you are not part of a tour group you are basically ignore, dinner is at a coffee table between to sofas. You are at the end of a deadend road. Everything is downhill from it. Makes walking a challenge.

Personne n'était présent à la réception lorsque nous sommes arrivés à 14h30. Le serveur du restaurant a finalement fait notre accueil. Il parlait très mal l'anglais et ne comprenait pas nos questions. Pas de wifi dans les chambres. Service au bar inexistant.

Terrible customer experience I booked and prepaid my stay through Hotels.com. Upon arrival at Hotel de Montaña Suria, I was told they had not received the payment and that I had to pay again at check-in in order to receive the room keys. I arrived late at night after a car crash, exhausted and just needing rest, so I paid again on the spot. The next morning, I checked my credit card and confirmed that both Hotels.com and Hotel de Montaña Suria charged me for the same room — a clear double charge. When I raised the issue, Ariel, the front desk manager, told me I had to request the reimbursement directly from the online platform. However, Hotels.com requires an invoice from the hotel as proof of the second payment. Until today, I have not received any invoice from the hotel, making it impossible to process the refund. In over 13 years of using Hotels.com, this is the first time I’ve ever had a problem like this. While the property itself is very nice, the lack of coordination, accountability, and post-stay support resulted in a terrible customer experience. I strongly recommend considering other lodging options to avoid similar issues or not using Hotels.com for booking.

Hotel bellísimo, los jardines espectaculares. Las habitaciones preciosas, limpias y cómodas. La vista a la montaña un sueño El restaurante delicioso. El personal amable y servicial. Perfecto para mascotas, el espacio amplio Volvería siempre

Someone was smoking at 05:00 by our room and it seemed like a regular event I couldn't sit down and enjoy the birds or anything else the calmness had to offer.

Me gustó mucho este hotel. La atención de su personal fue excelente, las instalaciones son lindísimas y la comida muy buena.

En general el hotel está bien pasamos una buena noche el día que llegamos en la tarde queríamos tomarnos un café pero la crema de lo que está en la habitación estaba dura y solo café expreso había para hacer, fuimos al restaurante y no habremos solo al desayuno y cena. Entonces tuvimos que buscar en lugares fuera del hotel. Y como a la 1 de la mañana habían perros dentro de la propiedad ladre y ladre

La experiencia fue súper linda, el lugar es maravilloso, tienen jardines muy lindos y bien mantenidos. El hotel está muy bien cuidado, es acogedor, bien acondicionado e invita a descansar. El servicio es muy bueno y Diego de recepción está pendiente de lo que uno necesite. Tomamos solo el desayuno que estaba incluido y nos gustó mucho, es de buena calidad y muy buena proporción. Los únicos puntos puntos a mejorar son: 1) las habitaciones están pegadas por lo que se escucha todo y es peor en la noche donde hasta los ronquidos de la persona de al lado son fuertes y 2) no tienen calefacción sino que lo que dan es un tipo de ventilador que si funciona pero tiene una luz muy fuerte.

Ça restera un mauvais souvenir. Le défaut principal est le manque de chauffage dans l'hôtel. Au vu du prix payé pour les chambres c'est une honte (Plus de 110$). Les chambres ne sont équipées que d'un petit chauffage d'appoint qui peine à réchauffer la pièce quand il fait froid dehors et il faisait froid quand nous y avons séjourné. La salle de bain n'est pas chauffée, je vous laisse imaginer le plaisir quand il s'agissait de passer à la douche. La journée, il ne faut pas imaginer aller se réchauffer dans une pièce commune, le restaurant n'est pas chauffé non plus. Pour le reste, on a eu un petit déjeuner sans pain parce que la cuisine est arrivée en rupture de stock pendant le séjour, ça mais imaginer le degré de professionnalisme des personnes en charge de l'approvisionnement.

This was my second visit one of the best hotels in the Savegre Valley for birders. The accommodations are excellent (including heating in the rooms & hot showers!), with the mountain-view villas being especially good for birders. A major bonus is a wonderful bird-feeding area attracting lots of hummingbirds & frugivores. The only drawback on this visit was the disappointing meals on our first evening - I hope just a reflection of temporary staffing problems. Fortunately excellent restaurants at Lauraceas and Savegre are close by.
