The Tanjil Motel is an older property but is clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful.

The location was good. Our room was at the rear & quite, clean, good bed & linen had foxtel. Friendly & obliging staff.

Great staff. Clean and comfortable. The bed was a little firmer than I prefer but apart from that I highly recommend.

Everything was good except for the check in. Arrived around 6 15pm, reception was closed (said it will be open). Had to call staff and was instructed to just open the room and get in. The room was locked. There was no key to enter. After calling again staff came in and opened the door and asked me to come to the reception to check in. After I checked in went back to the room to find that there was no key inside, as informed. Had to go back to the reception to get the key.It was a hectic process. Never experienced this before in any place. (the good thing was there was no delay in making the call and staff arriving) However the room was clean and the facilities were as expected.

There was an easy car parking but I didn’t have a car. The room smelt fresh. Bed, shower, foxtel, amenities were all good. Great to have a microwave It’s a little bit out of town on the main road but no traffic noise.

My stay at Tanjil was wonderful I spoke to Alan at time of booking and he took wonderful care of me with clear directions and made check-in simple including fixing a mix up with my booking. The room was clean, well appointed and had all the amenities will definitely stay again. Thanks very much Alan

Was excellent

This place was perfect for our group of cyclists to stay and explore the Great Eastern Rail Trail. Great parking, plenty of hot water for a good shower after riding and clean sheets for a good nights sleep. Beds were comfortable. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Overall, great value for money.

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff, understand and know guest’s needs. Clean spick and span, and well-ventilated Room including the toilet, small “kitchen” adequately fitted with microwave oven, toaster, kettle, etc. Check-in and check-out with ease.

Clean room, great service, exceptional value for money.

Small room for a family room. No sink. You had to wash dishes in bathroom and drink water from bathroom sink. Also we had to use a cup to fill up kettle to boil water as tap was too low to fill kettle or a bottle

Door didnt lock. Bed was terrible. ⁸

Owner, Allan, was helpful, as always.
