Location is great, property and rooms not as advertised.

The room was fine but the service from the staff was slow.

The room I was in had a weathered look: cracked floorboards and beat up furnishings. Also, really outdated. Looks nothing like the room in the picture. There was no blow dryer!? Beds were hard, small and uncomfortable. I had to use a pair of scissors I happened to have brought with me to open up the soap and shampoo packets, which were impossible to tear. Was on the first floor beneath apparent elephant trainers who were putting their beasts through the entire act: Stomping and thumping for hours. I skipped staying the second night that I'd already paid for. Luckily, I was in town for a wedding and only lived about fifty minutes away and drove home. And this is supposed to be the BETTER of the two Motel 6s in Carpinteria. The staff was nice and the cleaning crew stopped by, so service was fine. Would not recommend to visiting friends or family.

Great location for Carpinteria and Santa Barbara. Walking distance to Main Street, restaurants, stores, beach, etc. Smaller rooms. Old motel but in decent shape.

The rooms are pretty simple but very clean.

For the money this is a very basic room. However we were charged extra for a ground floor which reduces the cost benefits.

Easy access to freeway and food and gas station. Room was to small/tight for 3 people although you could fit 4.

I reserved two nights and the room was extremely noise with what it was like a motor or engine above on the roof or the ceiling running all night then we asked to be moved to another room which they did. The second room was fine.

Easy location.. plenty of parking.. safe area..

It was so quiet and very clean. We had a good, quick stay.

I liked that the room was clean. The shower curtain could be stand to be replaced. They had a nice pool and staff. You can walk to Starbucks, grocery store and Rudys Mexican food. Beach about a mile away.

The room is not as expected. Poor quality.
