ホテル周辺に明かりがないため部屋の窓やデッキからもオーロラがきれいに見えました。2時間おきにタイマーをセットしてオーロラがでていないかチェックしていましたが、お願いしておくとオーロラが出ると部屋に電話をしてくれる、というサービスがあります。チェックインの時に教えてもらいたかった。

リングロード沿いにあり、またアイスケープのツアーに行くにはとても好都合な位置にホテルがあるので便利でした。また、ホテルのスタッフもとても親切だったので、チェックインとチェックアウトがスムーズに行えました。

It was one of the best stays ever. I could see the Northern Lights from my room.

チェックインの時のスタッフが予約内容を間違え開き直って感じが悪かった。最初に通された部屋は直接外に出られるはずの窓が壊れていた。未使用のはずなのにタオルがシワシワで不揃いに掛けてあったりと不潔で不快だったが、それを伝えると広くて綺麗な部屋と交換してくれた。ベビーベッドまで貸してくれた。この時のスタッフはとても感じが良かった。残念ながら見えなかったがオーロラを見るのや観光するのに立地はとても良かった。朝食も果物や野菜が取れて助かった。レストランはお勧めしない。

ヴァトナヨークトル氷河のアイスケイブツアーへ行くには、レイキャビクから日帰りは不可能なため、アイスケイブツアーの集合場所まで約100kmのこのホテルに宿泊しました。レイキャビクか見て、ヴァトナヨークトル氷河の手前、車であと１時間程度の場所にあります。 周りは何もなく、夜は暗闇の中にポツンとあるホテルです。 アメニティはボディソープぐらいしか無く、冷蔵庫もありませんが、ホテルは清潔で快適でした。

A very clean hotel with nice staff and great views. The rooms are a bit small, but very comfortable. We enjoyed the Northern Lights just outside of our room. The restaurant has tasty food.　とても清潔なホテルで快適に過ごせました。部屋は少し小さいですが、大きな窓の外には素晴らしい景色が広がっていて、部屋から直接外へ出られ、夜にはオーロラも楽しめました。レストランの食事は高い（アイスランドの外食では平均的な値段かも？）ですが、とても美味しかったです。

私たちの泊まった日はあいにく天気が悪くオーロラがみえなかったのですが（オーロラパワーはHIGHだったのに・・）、天気がよければ部屋の前の庭からオーロラが見えるようになっていて便利だなと思いました。部屋もとてもきれいで機会があればまた泊まりたいです。

受付の人にひとり、対応に冷たさを感じた。クレームをつけられないように、守ってる言い方だった。こちらは英会話に自信がないので、確認をするだけのつもりだったのだが。 他は、素晴らしい環境で、さらに一泊したかったほどです。冬、オーロラを見るため再訪したいと思った。

テラスから直接外へ出られます。また椅子をテラスに移動させ、好きなだけ大自然を堪能。とても素敵なホテルでした。 景色がいい部屋にしてくれたおかけで、遠く氷河まで見渡せました。最高です。

平屋だての建物で、部屋から直接外に出られ、オーロラが出ればすぐに見られる。回りになにもなく、そういった場面にはピッタリ。夕食は回りには食べるところがなさそうで、ホテルの食堂で食べる以外は、どこかで買っていくしかないです。バーはあります

The hotel was simple, but the room was beautiful.As customers came outside and they were making noise, we also went outside and the aurora appeared. It was good as information gets easy to enter. Since there was no table on which to put the baggeage, that folding type is good so that is saved. Because it is serious if you come with big baggage. I want to use it again. Thank you very much.

This hotel was definitely a hotel that you should only stay at if you are passing through, don’t drive here as a destination. It is very expensive and honestly feels a little bit like a motel. I will say the restaurant is REALLY good. If it wasn’t for the restaurant the hotel would have been a total waste of time. Amazing location and views. But for the price, it really doesn’t feel as nice as it should.

After a long day driving, this hotel feels like heaven. They have a nice restaurant which made us feel great for a nice diner! very big rooms comparing to other hotels we stayed in the same trip. The view is amazing. Very nice! wanted to stay more days but we needed to keep going! highly recommend it.

Friendly staff. Just off main ringroad but quiet. Food was very good.

This hotel is a road motel for the price of a 5 star hotel. The rooms are small and simple, the bathroom is very low quality, including the grime included the plastic shower. Do not recommend. Breakfast was also por quality.

Staff was incredible, as is in every fosshotel we've ever stayed at. Great location to skaftafell and many other attractions near systrafoss. Stunning views from room. Great breakfast and dinner. I would highly recommend the arctic char and risotto. 100% staying here again

Really nice hotel, not so many amenities, but staff was super friendly, upgrade the room for us without asking, spacey room, comfortable bed and nice view on our patio.
