WhatsAppでの対応がとても素速く、すぐ返事をくださったので安心してチェックイン＆チェックアウトができました。目の前の通りが夜は美味しいレストラン街、朝は楽しい市場になって、泊まっているだけでワクワクしました。部屋はとても綺麗で広く可愛くて、居心地良かったです。毎朝受付に来てくださるスタッフの方もとても親切でした。 このあたりの道は石畳なのでスーツケースを転がすのが少し大変ですが、それ以上に素敵な宿なので、次もぜひ泊まりたいです。

ドォーモから2, 3分、市場の中にあります。 市場の様子が見れて 面白かった。 カターニャの 市場の迫力はすごいですね。 お部屋にはダブルベッドとシングルベッドがあり一人旅には充分でした。 朝食は ダイニングキッチンで食べるのですが 他 の部屋の方との交流もあり楽しかったです。

カターニャのマーケットのど真ん中にあり、露天販売店の間の入り口を入るホテル。女将Ginaさんは英語がいまいちだが、親切でした。マーケットでの野菜や魚等の食材探訪にはベストロケーションで、空港からのバス停も近い。

オーナーのジーナがとても親切で、部屋も広くて良かった。 部屋の真下で朝市がやっているので、ちょっと騒がしいけど、カターニアの中心地に住んでいる感じがして良かった。場所も最高のロケーションでした。

Camera molto pulita. Personale cortese e gentile. La location del B&B Gisira è perfetta per esplorare la città che è splendida sia come punto di partenza per gite giornaliere verso altre mete. Nelle vicinanze del B&B ci sono parecchi locali per tutti i gusti, shopping, ristoranti, souvenirs, bar dove gustare le bontà della pasticceria Siciliana. Appena fuori dalla porta del B&B ti ritrovi nel cuore della città. La zona è sicura a qualsiasi ora, al mattino per la presenza del mercato e alla sera perchè ci sono parecchi ristoranti e bancarelle. Io e mia moglie ci siamo trovati molto bene.

The place is located near restaurants and a fruit/fish market is outside the door. The fruit/veg are wonderful, huge and sweet. We always felt safe at the B & B and in the city. Room is simple and clean. Staff are available and helpful. There is shopping a walkable few blocks away. The bus station, which will take you many places in Sicily for a nice day trip, is a few blocks. Across from it is a McDonalds with a solid (not huge) American coffee.

Great response from hosts. Clean. Neat and tidy. Simple. Very comfortable beds. Everything you need.

Lovely clean property right in the Centre of Catania. There is a fantastic food and fish market practically on your doorstep. Loads of wonderful restaurants to walk to along with beautiful Baroque churches and architecture.

We really liked our stay at B&B Gisira. Silvia was very helpful and kind. The room was very clean and practical. It is located in the very centre of Catania, and the perfect starting point to experience the city and go to Taormina, Siracusa and the Etna. Would recommend!

Neben Zimmern zur Straße gibt es offensichtlich auch ein Zimmer zum Innenhof. Die Balkontür öffnet den Blick zur 5x5 Meter großen Lichtöffnung, die sich ca. 10 Meter über dem Balkon befindet. Untermalt wird dieser dunkle Eindruck mit einem laufenden Kühlkompressor und einer Waschmascine im Innenhof. Der Schlagzeuger / Musiker aus dem angrenzenden Nachbarhaus (am Kopfende unseres Betts) verstummte zum Glück vor 23 Uhr. Auf dem Toilettensitz konnten wir uns Setzen, wenn wir die Duschabtrennung beiseite geschoben haben. Leider war das Zimmer 10 Grad kalt, weil nicht vorgeheizt. Nachvollziehbar, weil auch die Klimaanlage nicht heizen wollte.

Cute place and excellent location! At night, there are several good restaurants in Via Gisira. In the morning, there’s a charming fruit and vegetable market. The b&b is also an easy walk to most sights of interest in Catania. The place itself is simple, but clean and comfortable. Highly recommend. Oh, and if you’re driving, as in advance where to park. There’s an easy public parking place nearby.

Everything about this propery was good however, in the morning i was given a voucher to claim a breakfast at a nearby cafe. Only i couldnt find it. So i didnt get any breakfast😒
