The staff's response was neither good nor bad, but the walls of the room were thin and I could hear the guests in the next room talking, and when someone walked down the hallway, it vibrated inside the room, waking me up in the morning, even though I wanted to sleep well.

We booked this hotel through Expedia based on the excellent reviews and photos, but our experience was extremely disappointing. The room was old, had a strong unpleasant smell, and was not clean. We informed the staff, but they had no better room to offer, and we couldn’t find another place to move to. The breakfast was very poor - just basic toast with very limited options. The photos and descriptions online do not reflect the actual condition of the property. Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had. We would not recommend staying here and hope future guests are aware before booking.

For the price point this place is fantastic, it’s clean and quiet, the beds were very comfortable and they offer complimentary e-bikes! Very cool idea. Would definitely recommend

They asked for a $100 “deposit” that I never got back! I contacted them and they are not answering! The breakfast is sugar on top of sugar with a side of sugar! I literally ate there with my kids maybe twice throughout one week reservation, very sweet muffins, jams, sweet pancakes and maple syrup to mention few of the sugary items! Some of the staff are nice, not all of them! The room service is good, they act when you ask. The place does have a musty smell! It is annoying! Their E-Bike rental is convenient and Kayak rental as well. Will I be staying there again? Absolutely no! Get back to me when you read this review as well because I want that $100 back! Hope this review is helpful for others.

We are a family of three, and we stayed at Robin Hood Inn & Suites for 2 nights. When we first entered the room, there was a smell inside. Luckily, the smell was gone after we opened the window for a while. The room is clean, but you will see some used signs (e.g. some bread crumbs on the shelf). The kitchenette included all the things you need if you prepare a meal by yourself. They offer a simple breakfast. Our favourite was the coffee machine. It offered a variety of hot beverages (black coffee, latte, flat white, mocha...). My son loved the pancake machine. :) Unfortunately, the only protein offered was boiled eggs. No sausage or bacon was provided. The thing we loved the most was that they offered free e-bikes! We biked around downtown, which was very enjoyable. We wished that we could rent it for 6 hours instead of 3. In sum, we had a good stay here.

The rooms and bathrooms are renovated, very clean and comfortable, the kitchen was clean but very ugly and outdated, it really didn't match with the rooms or bathroom. There was a general weird, old, bad smell all over the property. The outside was not very appealing, it had a construction area right in front, busy ugly street, the only nice thing was the huge tree, it would be great if they added flowers and plants, they certainly have the space. The Laundry room was pretty convenient, the breakfast was pretty basic, the area certainly could look better. The e-bikes and kayaks if available are definitely a good thing. The staff was nice and accommodating, If you pay a low season fee, it is a good place, but if you book last minute and pay high fee like we did, it is definitely not worth it.

Just a great place to stay in Victoria. Totally unassuming and that's part of the charm. You're not paying for luxury. You're paying for the larger rooms, the fantastic staff, the electric bikes always available to you. All that and more. Highest recommendation.
