シングルルームでしたが天窓やベッドサイドの窓やインテリアなど非常にデザインがかわいらしいホテルでした。暖房もしっかりしており暖かく過ごせました。レストランで夕食・朝食をとりましたがおいしかったです。スタッフも明るく丁寧で、また利用したいホテルです。

夜中に到着しましたが、とても快く迎えてくれました。スタッフが素晴らしいです。ただ、入口や駐車場がやや分かりにくいかもしれません。お部屋は湖畔にあり、朝が気持ち良いです。朝食つきのプランにしましたが、自分で焼いて食べるワッフルがあり、とても美味しかったです。お部屋も広く、2人では十分でした。

The location is excellent and queit. Only place to eat was the hotel restaurant. There were an item or two for vegetarians. Price was on par with slightly high end restaurants. Staff was excellent, service was top notch. The restaurant overlooks the fjord and makes for an enjoyable evening.

We stopped here on night 5 of our Ring Road tour. We had a Superior Double room which had a balcony overlooking the fjord. The views were stunning. Parking was available next to the bar/restaurant. Access was on the level from that car park, and there was also a lift if you accessed from the upper level. The reception is in the building across the road, and there’s a small exhibition depicting the building’s former use as a hospital. The room was spacious and has a mini-fridge. Beds were comfy and the room was spotless. Breakfast was great with a huge selection to choose from.

Nice hotel in a remote but gorgeous fjord. Not much else around the area, but the hotel restaurant was delicious and everyone was very friendly. Beautiful unobstructed views of the fjord. Nice quiet town if you want a bit of serenity after a long day of driving the ring road.

The staff were polite and helpful. The room was immaculate. The restaurant had delicious food and was the perfect place to have a drink. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was clean but the mattress was too firm and the mini refrigerator didn’t work very well. The view was very lovely and the location very scene. The staff were helpful. We enjoyed a dinner at L’Abri Restaurant but it was expensive.

This is a charming boutique hotel housed in a beautifully repurposed former French hospital. The property has a unique character that sets it apart from typical hotels. The views are beautiful, the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, and the on-site restaurant serves excellent food. The combination of history, comfort, and great dining made this one of the highlights of our trip. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a unique and memorable place to stay.

Zimmer sauber und geräumig, Frühstück reichhaltig. Sauna sehr gut und sauber, Wäscheservice angemessen und schnell, Personal hilfsbereit und freundlich. Einzig die Hellhörigkeit der Zimmer stört sehr.

Loved the museum in basement of hotel! The restaurant was fabulous! Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable! Highly recommend this hotel!!!

We enjoyed the history of the property. The views are wonderful. The breaks is great too.

Fosshotel was clean and comfortable. We rented two rooms for one night. The staff accommodated us on our late arrival. After staying in several larger cabin-type accommodations, this felt very small, but in reality, it was the size of small hotel room. We had everything that we needed. We arrived late and left early, so we did not explore the area much, but the views from our balconies were breath-taking. Just stunning! We would definitely stay again!

Great stay, not very many people around , the hotel was very clean and accommodating , the hotels restaurant’s was French, and the other restaurants in town that was open was the cafe, we enjoyed an amazing pizza! Room was perfect very spacious for 3 people! Highly recommend!

Superb. Stayed just for one night of 16 in Iceland. Recommended by our daughter, as she had stayed there in 2022. Excellent room on first floor, with a balcony and overlooking the fjord. Amazing view from the room.....once the mist had lifted. The room decor and fittings were exceptional and I particularly liked the solid wooden floor. The history of the building was very interesting,this coupled with the historic exhibits. Really peaceful with an ambience that made us want to stay longer. One of the best hotels I have visited.
