Very complicated about check in. The Area is not that good. Room is very small. The shower is broken. But the location very close to MTR station. Not recommended.

Terrible room, terrible experience and most of all, terrible owner! The photos on the site wasn't the one you'll be getting. Cramped and so small and you can barely move. Bathroom uncleaned, sheets and pillows. Aircon is suffocating! It's a scam to say the least. We arrived on the exact time (3PM) and we were advised to be back at 18:30 for check in. Even asked me to leave our luggage for 70HKD an hour. Why would we leave our luggage when it was our time for check in. The owner said it was peak season so time will change accordingly! Wasn't considering that we traveled miles away just to visit. Had some announcements on the door saying this and that which you will never read on their listing! Mind you, check out should be at 9:45 the next day when it says 11AM on their listing. Checking out a minute late, your 200HKD for check in deposit will go down the drain! If you want to waste your time, energy and money go on! Book on this hotel. I don't recommend to everyone for I am sure you'll suffer the same!

A small room, very much smaller bathroom, no space to move.

Very bad experience in this Hotel. We booked last October 22 to 25 for a family room and a triple room. We were 6 adults and 3 children. the kid's ages are 3, 4 and 8 so basically the family room is only good for 4 persons plus the triple room so basically it should only be 7 persons but they wanted to charge the kids even if it does not occupy an extra bed. I would be willing to pay for additional person if they have mentioned it in their website so at least you have expected it in advance. They also charge an additional 30% on top of the the booking amount for the energy surcharge in which they did not mentioned it prior to your booking so those who will book in this hotel please be prepared for an additional charge. they mentioned that they have free hot water but the water dispenser is not working. also in the family room the air-con is not working, they just provided an extra electric fan, the TV is defective, when you open the TV the display is upside down. We book in this hotel knowing that it is cheap but you will end up having to pay more. during our stay they did not even clean the rooms, I would definitely would not recommend this hotel.

it's not recommended for people who want to be relaxed and comfortable after a busy day in HK. They asked us to leave early on our check-out date because they need the room. They indicated that check-out should be at 11:30 AM and they want us to leave at 10 AM. They have good WiFi though but other than that...nah.

We stayed for 3 nights, we arrived late night pagdating namin may taxes etc pa na siningil.na 160HKD. Since antok na kame ng anak ko no choice na. Walang nag lilinis ng room, sariling linis mo. Walang phone how to contact if you need assistance. Though malapit sya sa lahat at maganda un location, Nakakatakot lang kase more more ibang lahi un nasa baba ng chungking.

Hi. I generally had a great stay at Hongkong. First night I arrived to Chungking Mansion, quite fast paced, different culture, busy city. At Crystal Hostel, everything I need at my backpacking got covered. Tidy bed and room, own bathroom, free drinking water, free use of microwave and fridge. They have water heater so no need to bother showering cold. Awesome stay for a backpacker like me! Also, crews (specially Gopi - look for him, he's kind and funny) are very friendly, they are accommodating and always offering assistance with where will you be going(direction and how to get there), what adventure to beat try! Gopi even looked for my disney ticket with 50 HKD discount! (this is legit) Thanks Crystal Hostel, Thank you Gopi!!

Great place for people who are looking for affordable and budgeted hostel

The location is very near anywhere you go and cheap, not bad for a day or 2 days stay only, because the rooms are very small just enough for backpackers like us.

There are stains in the bedsheet and no table to put our things

It was good but I was shocked that chungking mansion has a lot of hostels inside.
