I stay here everytime i come to Nevada city

Went there for a 3 day wedding weekend. Property was cool. Staff was super sweet. Room was pretty bad. Clumps of hair on the shower wall, bathroom had a moldy ceiling, carpet was worn to the floor, vanity light out, wall was painted multiple shades of white/yellow. Inside door handle was grimy. Worst hotel I had ever stayed in. But still had an awesome wedding weekend and recommend it for anyone doing a wedding weekend. Huge potential for this place.

Drapes hanging off rod, bathroom moldy around the bottom of tub/shower, walls cracking open and just general lack of maintenance. Friends who live in town asked me where I was staying and I told them. They said not a great decision. Used to be a nice place in the day but is now run down. They are right. Owners: spend some money on your property to upgrade and clean it up. If you can’t afford to do it, sell the property

Cabin was dilapidated, filthy with mold Furniture was disgusting with mismatched couch cushions, rips in the fabric, broken chairs. The kitchen was worthless because it had absolutely nothing. Not even a fork. Not that it was clean enough to cook in anyway Hair in the bathroom, shampoo was missing, toilet was not even bolted to the floor. This place should be condemned....

We stayed in room 408. There was black mold on ceiling in bathroom. We killed 2 brown recluse spiders and it took 10 minutes to get hot water. Night shift Emily was real rude. They try to charge me 3xs for a deposit. Emily night shift threatened me saying that if I didn't sign a paper that I had already signed when I checked in that she said my keys would probably not work. There are just so many things that went wrong. Staying there and I guarantee. I will not be back to that place.also everytime we we open our door it smell like someone was smoking but no one was oit side.

Place is disgusting. Smelled like urine. I ended up staying at a friend's place to sleep. The couch was so dirty I couldn't sit on it. I m raised in the woods so I'm used to dirt. But this is just the grossest place. Worse than the worst motel6 I've stayed in.

Weve stayed here 2 different times and love it. Its our go-to place when we stay in Nevada City. They also have a beautiful waterfall and fern grotto on site.

Good price. Quiet. Convenient.

Booked one bedroom with two beds. Only one bed in room. Trash everywhere, people in Navada City said this hotel had been turned into a homeless selter, and rented out empty rooms. Please remove this property frome Hotels.com. very 👎 bad.

This property is so cute. We've stayed here several times. Close to Nevada City, quiet and even has cute nature trail to the railroad museum on the property. Some of the rooms are a little older but I see they are actively replacing furniture and updating rooms since we've first started coming here. For the price it's excellent.

This hotel is magnificent in its own charming way! A beautiful dreamland that somebody put incredible love and care into building many years ago. To me, the aging buildings just add to the timeless charm. How many hotels come with their own tiny little train?? I was enchanted!

Nice properly next to railroad museum!

Love the quiet atmosphere & the amazing scenery. What I didn’t like is the old smell in the room & it was clean but not completely. Dishwasher & coffee machine did not work, there was only one remote for 2 tvs & the oven was dirty. That being said we hv stayed 2 separate time & enjoy ourselves each time & plan to go back with the family in November. Just needs small tweaks.

Pricing is super reasonable for the area, and the place is just beautiful nestled in the trees! I wish I had the need to stay over in Grass Valley more, I would stay here all the time!

perfect little spot. nice downtown nearby. cozy rooms, friendly staff.

Paid a lot for what ended up feeling like a motel 6 experience… disappointing and wish we’d just picked the cheapest room or tried another spot.
