The room was clean. There was plenty of space. Only thing is the TV signal was not working but this could have been easily due to the massive thunderstorm we were having at the time which was far more beautiful to watch. I would definitely stay here again. Definitely value for money.

Great location and beautiful views, booked last minute for work, had an amazing sleep as it was so quiet and easy check in and out. Already booked for next week

Any faults the hotel/room had, such as hidden bathroom light switch was more than made up by lovely people in a lovely place. We would happily stay there again

The room and linens were clean but the bathroom was quite old. The staff was kind.thank you

Main problem was lack of preparedness. Had to ask for toilet paper as there was none in the bathroom. Then we had a kettle but no coffee/tea/milk in room. Problems that should not have arisen but were all resolved quickly. Steps to the shower made access extremely difficult for anyone suffering lack of mobility.

The hotel was lovely, Clean, warm and friendly. I ate in one evening and the food was excellent. Served promptly, hot and plentiful. My experience with the hotel was very good but my experience with hotels.com not good at all. I booked a pay on arrival at the hotel but 3 days beforehand the fee was taken from my bank account to pay a hotel with the same name, but 250 miles away. This led to my bank account being blocked and me being stranded away on holiday without access to my funds. The hotel are trying to help in this but it us the booking company at fault - and so far they have done absolutely nothing to help!

worst room ever! dirty and stained carpets, no soap or shower gel, dust and sticky surfaces. TV remote with leaked batteries, some random TV receiver on the floor but didn't work. Bed mattress ware bad to. Worst of all... between the windows and curtains there ware 20-30 fly's... got rid of them only to be awaken 5-6AM by another 20-30 fly's and a wasp.... and all this cost me £90!!!!! Had no other option but to stay as I arrived after 7PM and had to be on the road by 8 next day... food in the pub is not any better. had cheese burger over £10 and taste was similar to food from a food truck on a car boot market... I am looking on getting my money back or at least half. Shame as locals are really nice and friendly ppl.

it was a old pub its what i expected in the right area for us it was clean everything worked but needs up-dating but not to much staff and food was great loved it

I have no intrinsic idea why this 'hotel' is advertised on the Expedia website. The room was scruffy ('tired' is too kind a description), the skirting boards and carpets dirty, there was no soap or hot water. The bedding was stained. I left after one night. When I spoke with the landlord the following day, his use of the vernacular was astounding - not exactly Welsh Hospitality at its best! This establishment should be avoided at all costs. A total waste of money.

The owner was aggressive, swearing at us and staff, banging on our door like the police

The inn brought me home to Wales and was a shelter from a storm within a warm community. Dai will go above and beyond to care for his own and strangers. My room at the inn will carry memories, as I am sure is the experience for many. I could have won a walk up a mountain - another time. Thank you and your staff Dai:-)

old world charm, friendly staff. Good quality linen.

Comfortable, clean room; but ‘tired’ decoration and no milk/coffee ( but there was tea and sugar! ). No ‘complimentary’ soap/shampoo in the bathroom. Easy check in/out and friendly, helpful staff.

Very good location. Loveky staff.
