部屋に入ると清潔感に欠ける印象を受けた。ベッドを確認したら、シーツが汚れていたのが気になった。シャワーの横に洗面台があり、シャワーを浴びると木製の扉が濡れてしまう。出るまでに時間はかかるが、シャワーのお湯は温かく湯量も十分だった。

朝も夜も停電になる。

タメルの便利なところにあり、夜中に通りが騒がしいこともありましたが、警備員さんも含めスタッフのおもてなしに心休まりました。

空港でタクシーでホテル行くと騙されるから、無料ホテルの送迎サービスを利用してもいいよと言われたからそれにしたが、ホテルの車に乗った瞬間にその係りがチップなうと僕言って、僕はそして20ルピーを渡したが、少ないと言われて、直接財布から1000ルピーも取られた‼️逆にホテルの係りに騙された..態度悪いし、なめてるん⁉️

タメルは常に車やバイクが行き交っていますが、このホテルは小道に入ったところにあるので、出入りの時に車に気をつける心配がありません（ちゃんとタクシーをホテルに横付けすることはできます）。 ドアマンの男性をはじめ、スタッフの方々はいつも笑顔で迎えてくれました。 部屋の清掃も毎回してくれるので安心です。 チェックインして最初にエレベーターに乗ったとき、たまたま故障をしていたのか、閉じ込められたのが怖かったですが、それ以外の設備は問題ありませんでした。 エアコンもロビー・部屋含めよく効いています。 ただ、鍵については、キーホルダーが大きく、毎回鍵の開け閉め時に鍵とキーホルダーのあたる音が響き、他の部屋の人の入退室時の音までよく聞こえました。 隣の部屋の人の声等は一切聞こえませんでした。

改装されていますが､細かな部分は古いままです｡ しかし､それは問題なく快適に宿泊出来ました｡ 難点は､土地柄､埃が多く床が汚れていました｡ スリッパは必需品です｡ 総合的には満足で､機会がありましたら予約したいと思います｡

ストライキの影響かどうかは分からないですがwifiが全くつながらない日があった。部屋はきれいで静かだった。それ以外はよかった。

地震直後でしたので、サービスは期待していません。 評価は、泊まった部屋の状態です。 壁には雨漏りか何かのシミみたいなものがあり、かび臭い匂いがかなりしていました。 カビでなく、壁材か何かの匂いだったかもしれません。 夜寝るだけの利用のため今回は部屋換えを依頼しませんでしたが、 平常時であれば部屋替えを依頼しています。 格安旅であればお薦めしますが、同じくらいの値段であれば もっと良いホテルはあると思います。 年配の方や海外旅行になれていない方は、このホテルは利用しない方が良いでしょう。 (ホテルが信用できない、というものでありません)

清潔かつきれいなホテルでした。 スタッフの対応も非常に良く、近くに多彩なレストランや2～3時間で仕上げてくれるクリーニング店が多数あり、少し長く滞在するには大変便利でした。料金もリーズナブル、ダルハール広場も徒歩10分程度と近いのも魅力的かも知れません。 このホテルには現地に住んでいる友人に案内して頂いたのですが、少し入り組んでいるところに位置していたのでわかりにくかったようです。 仕事での宿泊だったのですが、少し早起きしてダルハール広場に散歩に行けたのもホテルのロケーションが良かったからでしょう。次回カトマンズを訪問するときも是非使いたいホテルです。

スタッフは親切でよかったが夜になるとネズミの走る音がする。その上チェックインの時にツアーの勧誘をされるので注意

I enjoyed my stay at this family run hotel. It's in a convenient location in Thamel but a little bit off the major streets so it's quiet at night.

At arrival, one room was give (room 301) which was beyond expectation. Very dirty floor, dirty microwave, not functioning fridge, windows so filthy you could not see through them, balcony doors not falling on the locks, door handles stained with pigeon poo: just horrible. Went to the clerk at reception who mentioned there were no other rooms and displayed a very not-interested nasty attitude. When asked for a full refund, he called the manager and all of a sudden, another room was available. This was room 405. Went to inspect this room as same story as 301. Not acceptable at all. Finally room 306 was shown and and this appeared to be a little better. However, the floor and furniture were very dusty bathroom was now finally OK and acceptable: however the level of cleanliness was not. I ended up cleaning the floor and furniture myself and asked for a mop and cleaning detergent. Delivered was a very black dirty mob and no detergent at all. Guy..this is the level of the Avataar hotel. Breakfast on the top floor is a big joke. except for the view. Dirty stained cups and ended up with rash on my tongue. I took just one day breakfast only where I only drank the tea wit this result. Positive matter is the water pressure and warmth of the shower. ON the first day of breakfast I met the manager/owner? who wanted to have my opinion and would connect with me later on. I briefly shared my experience and never heard from him again. This hotel is a big rip off.

Staff was very friendly and professional. I would recommend this hotel of location and the staff making it positive experience. Hotel is old but the staff made it a great experience.

Great location on one of the few quieter streets in Thamel. Super friendly staff that will make you feel at home during your stay. My favorite feature was the rooftop, which one of the highest in Thamel, and great for soaking up the scenary of mountains and some glorious sunshine - also with it being the highest up there privacy is very well established too. Ruchana and Sanjay were phenomenal managers and will ensure you are comfortable and well settled.

The overall experience I had at this hotel is very positive! I was first given an upgrade to a suite, which the room is very big, clean and comfortable! Their wifi is great and stable too! The breakfast was great with a great variety of selections. Most importantly, the staffs have all been friendly, helpful and very professional addressing my requests. They are also able to help you book customised tour trips around Kathmandu. I will highly recommend this hotel to others!

Excellent location for meals, coffee shop directly across, tours, shopping, and some tourist sights. The room had a clean design and all facilities working.

Overall a very good experience! Hotel, location and especially staff are very welcoming and a joy to interact with! It is really downtown Thamel area! I would chose this hotel again :)
