Clean room and great breakfast. Obliging staff. Will definitely stay again.

Good location with easy parking. Friendly staff. Catering of a good standard-typical pub grub. Portions could be too large for some. Room especially en-suite needs attention to taps and visible rust on radiator. Signing to warn of steps could be improved. Rooms near front can be subject to smoking fumes from patrons below.

A great place for an overnight stop. Old fashioned ‘rooms above a pub’ (or as my 17 year old son said, ‘very D&D’). Great to see a local pub doing so well - it was busy in the evening. Lovely setting too in Sedgefield - close to church and green. The food is definitely a positive - had a pub meal in the evening and then hearty cooked breakfast. Downside was that our room wasn’t fully cleaned - dirty towels on the floor of the bathroom. But we would stop over again.

Single bed room provided when I booked a double. Room had a bit of a musty smell. Very noisy from pub below but that was to be expected.

Very cosy hotel with a welcoming feel. Staff are very friendly & professional. Plenty of seating in bar area where you can eat but there is also a restaurant that you can book. The pub & rooms are dated giving a very traditional feel about the place. Located in a lovely village with other pubs only a couple of mins walk away. We would stay again x

Great pub, ever so busy for food. Reasonably priced large portions. Room very good . NO AIRCON . Just a window that opens great. Will stay again if working this way.
