I’m not deducting a star for the rather unpleasant member of staff in the bar last night (Sunday 10.45pm ) However, it’s worth mentioning as management need to stub it out before it affects ratings. Unhelpful, unpleasant and came across as quite rude. It’s a shame as one of the duty managers made our drinks the previous evening and he was friendly and helpful throughout our interaction with him. The cocktail he made me was excellent. One of the best I’ve had. The hotel is lovely and well located, albeit parking is a nightmare. By all means park outside to offload passengers and luggage - you’ve got a maximum of 20 mins. You need to either park in the public car park 100yds away (chargeable) or at the Glasshouse underground car park (€12 per night) located nearby. The hotel has a few spaces but they’re always taken. I would assume by the guests from high end rooms. Our basic room was nice but a bit small and the shower cubicle was really tiny. All that said, we enjoyed our stay.

Clean room, bathroom was tight but functioned well.

I have trouble understand how a hotel of this caliber is aloud to offer you a room with no windows (yes you're reading right) but"all amenities" or a room with a window and all the noises in the world...

Hotel was clean tidy. Had a big problem parking as had a disabled person with me. Had tried the rear parking reception said was full but Three spaces vseen from the barrier one disabled. They said that they where booked up. You need ear plugs from 6 in the morning as people slamming the doors. You need to put as few signs remind people not to slam the door. Didn't eat in hotel can't comment. Number of cleaning staff helpful and very polite.

Terribly smelling property. Breakfast was underwhelming. Elevator sounds like it may break.

Modern in parts but lacking finer details. Giving more style than substance. Breakfast was poor I'd skip for a local coffee shop. Requested an Iron which came with a filthy ironing board cover. Could do with management having some more oversight.

Really great hotel. Everything was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were extremely helpful and kind throughout our stay. The rooms were very comfortable, and nothing was too much trouble when we needed assistance. The breakfast was excellent with a great selection. Overall, a wonderful experience and I would happily stay here again.

Great location, everything walkable. The view on the river is spectacular. The presentation of everything is high quality. The staff are well trained and helpful, also inquisitive about you in an non-invasive way. The room was spotlessly clean, wifi was strong. I was there for work and was able to connect my computer to the television for a wide second screen. I marked it down one star because there was an additional charge to use the sauna and steam room. There was a €12 overnight parking fee too, but I parked below near the river in the public car park over night for free. But it all other respects this is a strong experience for either business or leisure travel.

It was close to downtown. We were on the main floor so would have gotten a room on a higher floor. A little noisy for us even around 11pm.

Decent place to lay your head

The staff are lovely. Always helpful and kind. Breakfast is a little chaotic if too many people arrive at once. Dinner in the North restaurant was fine. The waiter was excellent. My haddock special was superb but my wife’s chicken came undercooked, twice. There is no excuse for that. The maintenance team need to do some work in the room to fix a few faults, which I did mention to reception. Overall I was happy with my stay.

Good location, comfortable room. A little loud at night, and the heat/air con can only be controlled by the front desk.
