We stayed at The Anchor Inn Beach House in Provincetown, and honestly, it felt wildly overpriced for what we got. The room was tiny and outdated, especially the bathroom — damaged tile, stained grout, and a wall-mounted hairdryer that didn’t even work (and no backup). The old-school metal key was quirky until it stopped working reliably, and there’s no one at the desk 24/7 if you have issues - just a phone number. The walls were thin (hello, neighbor’s 7am phone call), and the mattress had clearly lived several lives, though the bedding itself was super clean. The location was great, and the woman who cleaned the rooms was genuinely lovely and helpful. But overall? You’re paying a luxury price for motel-level vibes.

We had a glorious time. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed looking out over the water from our balcony. Convenient to everything in P’town but still quiet and relaxing. A wonderful spot.

Location is perfect,rooms are comfortable and nice,views are outstanding,the staff very accommodating and friendly.The front porch is perfect for sitting and people watching.The rear of the property faces the picturesque harbor.

Fantastic stay, will be back.

Beautiful property, great location

Very cute hotel, right in the heart of Ptown. Rooms are on the small side, but perfect for solo traveler. Onsite parking available and very attentive staff.

An amazing locations, a wonderful room (first king size bed I've had in Ptown <3), a view of the water, and a tub I love to soak in again even during winter (which the gas fireplace on)

Great location right on commercial street with very nice ocean views in the back. Thought it might be loud because of location but we found it extremely quiet. Some cosmetic issues that should be fixed for the room price (bathroom wallboard separating and fireplace cover needed painting), but otherwise very nice. Good balcony chairs to enjoy the view.

Lovely inn by the harbor. Enjoyed the front porch with rocking chairs overlooking the Main Street and the balcony overlooking the harbor. Owner was friendly and available and breakfast was good. Hate to say anything less than positive however in need of some paint touch-ups. Overall a nice place

I was a first time visitor to Provincetown and had the good fortune of staying at The Anchor Inn. The owner Chris was extremely helpful in all aspects of the reservation process. The property is perfectly located and walkable convenient to all shops and restaurants. The rooms are meticulously clean and the fireplace was awesome on a cold rainy day. This property is located on the water so the views are spectacular. Every room has its own outdoor private space. Highly recommend this property and I have been told that I am not always o easy to please. I was beyond pleased.

The location is excellent! However, the room is very tiny, and at some point there was no hot water. The view of the sea from the balcony is beautiful, though. It’s nice to have continental breakfast, but the coffee mug wasn’t completely clean and there was some dark solid stick to the wall of the mug. Compared to how much we pay, this isn’t perfect stay; however, location wise, it is one of the best, especially if you didn’t drive here. The host is fine, but not super friendly or give you any information about the town

Extremely nice inn keeper(s). Great location on Commercial St. Rooms are nothing special. Waterview balconies overlook parking lot. Unfortunately it was too chilly to enjoy lovely front porch. Breakfast was ok.

Super friendly and accommodating staff. Fantastic location close to everything. Lovely views. Nice porch. Decent continental breakfast. Clean room. We loved this charming old home, though the room was in need of some repair as the bathroom door won't close. Room was small, but comfortable.

The waterfront view of the sunrise is unmatched. Great location, within steps of Spiritus Pizza.
