中心部の歴史的地区から約2km,でも歩いて行けない距離ではない。110号室に宿泊したが、事前情報通り、冷蔵庫も電子レンジもヘアドライヤーもアイロンもテレビもWi-Fiも全て揃っていた。肝心なシャワーも熱いお湯が勢いよく出たので文句なしである。但し、ちょっと特殊な操作法を必要とするため、注意書きをよく読まずに普段の感覚で使用しようとしたら、混乱するであろう。バスタブにお湯を溜めることもでき、湯に浸かることもでき、満足であった。朝食はつきませんが、近くにダンキンドーナツのお店があり、徒歩で行くことができますよ。 チェックアウトはフロントの外からルームカードを投げ入れるだけの簡単な手続きです。でも、チェックイン時に説明がないので、自分で判断する必要があります。チェックアウトの時間帯は、従業員の皆さんはお忙しそうでした。

The hotel is old but the room and bath were very clean with a hot shower and great water pressure. The bed was comfortable. The room also came with a fridge and microwave. When the sink plugged up the proprietor took care of it right away. It showed us that they care about their guests. Very reasonable price.

It was very clean , quiet I love the decor outside and pool. Comfortable day for one night.

For the price you can’t beat it. It’s for the most part clean. The water smells like sulfur, and my bathroom had hair on the walls. Also my room was in front of a street and you can hear everything that happens on that road.

The Merida is a no-frills budget Motel. My room needed a makeover, but I saw other rooms that were much nicer. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. A previous guest had poured coffee into the coffee maker to heat it up instead of using the microwave. I cleaned it out, but it didn’t work. The housekeeper gave me another one. He was very nice. The amenities are attached to the wall & are refilled, reducing landfill waste. However, I didn’t see a recycling bin. If you don’t mind walking a bit, you can walk to the pedestrian mall saving $20 on parking. The Merida doesn’t deserve an 8.2 rating based on my room, more like 6.5.

Great price for the room. Steve was very helpful & each day we had housekeeping services. They are located on US 1 so traffic noise is heard but minimally w/AC on. They have shampoo, conditioner & soap dispensers in the shower.

When we arrived, we could smell feces in the parking lot. I don't know where it was coming from. Inside the room, the bathroom door was making a lot of noise when opening and closing. We found some cockroaches. The curtain didn't block the light, and the valve that makes the shower water come out was spraying water at us. There was noise from cars because it was located in front of an avenue. Now, something about hotels in general: Why is the air conditioning next to the bed? The cold air is very bad for those who sleep. And what's more, there's no breakfast.

A bit far away from the downtown. However, the quality/price is the best!
