ロケーションが最適でした。アクロポリスや博物館に徒歩数分の距離、バス停もすぐそば、アテネの観光に最適な立地です。ホテルは新しく清潔で快適に過ごせます。最上階にあるレストランはミシュランなどの評価付きで、夕食は素敵なコース料理が、そして朝食もメニューから注文してとても素敵な食事ができます。空港からのアクセスも、ホテルにリムジンの予約を頼むと、タクシーとあまり変わらない値段で迎えが手配され快適でした。

観光スポットへのアクセスがよく、且つ静か。シンタグマから徒歩でも10分から15分位です。 部屋は多少手狭な感が(2人での宿泊なら)ありますが、一人にはちょうど良い。 周辺にレストランは多く食事にも困りません。スーパーも近くにあります。 朝食がメニューから選ぶ方式で自由度があって良いです。

気持ちよく滞在することができました。 高齢の家族をつれてくるホテルを探し立地的に最高だと目星をつけてました。お得な料金があったので予約したところ、ホテル側も少し遠慮がちに確認してくれるほど３人には狭い部屋で、更にエキストラベッドの追加料金を聞かされ、困惑しました。 ドアがきしんで夜中誰かがトイレに行くと全員起きてしまう、エキストラベッドは座ると底がぬけてしまう等の不具合あり、家族に申し訳なく後悔しました。 しかしながらホテルに困っている旨を説明するとすぐに部屋を換えてくれそれ以降は不具合はありませんでした。次回あれば正面に面した広い部屋を指定して宿泊したいです。 アクロポリスまで近く高齢の家族を余計に歩かさせずまた登った後すぐ部屋にもどり休憩できて非常に助かりました。 初日ホテルの上のレストランで夕食をとりましたが、メニューは限られるものの予想以上にレベルが高く、値段はよい値段しますが非常に満足しました。

最高のロケーションです。パルテノン神殿に続くメイン通りの入り口にあり、ミパルテノン神殿もミュージアムもゼウス神殿もプラカでのショッピングもレストランも全て徒歩圏内です。空港からシンタグマ広場までバスまたは電車で移動したら、地下鉄でアクロポリ駅まで１駅移動するだけです。大きな荷物があってもエレベーター・エスカレータがあるので移動に不便はありません。シンタグマ広場のあたりは混雑しすぎるので、こちらの方が良いと思います。そして何と言ってもこのホテルのアクロポリスビュー・スイート！広いバルコニーから贅沢な眺望です。可能であれば是非スイートに。最上階のレストラン眺めも素晴らしいです。 スタッフはとてもフレンドリーで親切です。いろいろなリクエストに答えてくれます。ホテル自体はやや古く小さいビルですが、改装して全てが新しい内装です。快適なベッドでアメニティも完璧でした。朝食のカフェも最上階レストランもとても美味しい食事を提供してくれます。

Expensive hotel. Excellent location for visiting the Acropolis Museum and Acropolis Slopes and Placa. Very very busy streets around hotel. Lovely breakfast in rooftop restaurant. Bathroom only issue. No place to put toiletries or hang towels. Staff was friendly.

Athens Was hotel is a perfectly situated boutique hotel. It lies within the Plaka district of Athens. It has very accommodating and knowledgeable staff. The staff were more than friendly and eager to help whenever they could. The rooms were modern and well appointed. As a bonus, the view from the breakfast room was spectacular. As we had an unimpeded view of the Acropolis. The small details were not overlooked at this hotel. The Senses restaurant, located in Athens Was, is magnificent. It is as if you are eating delicious art.

Great location and very nice hotel. I don't know if it the value for the money was there, but I did appreciate the high-end amenities, the helpfulness of the staff and the location. We only stayed for one evening to catch an early flight back home, so I don't know if we got the full experience of staying there. Regardless it's a lovely hotel and would definitely recommend if it's within your budget.

This was our first trip to Athens. I struggled with picking the right hotel that was close to all the sites that we wanted to see. We nailed it with AthensWas. It’s the perfect location. Close to everything. Very clean and safe. I walked by some of the other hotels that we didn’t pick up and I’m so glad that we chose this one. I’ll stay there again my next time in Athens.

Incredible experience we loved it!

Charming, perfectly located within walking distance of all major sights. Close also to many restaurants, car hire agencies and Acropoli Metro Station. Room is spotless, shower is small but fantastic rain shower head. Lighting in the bathroom could be a bit brighter for gentlemen to shave with confidence 🙂. Sense restaurant offers an elevated dining experience — not to be missed. The breakfast menu has interesting offerings; the only negative comment is the quality of the cooking varies from one day to the next depending on who’s staffing the kitchen… Overall, an excellent hotel. We would gladly return, and highly recommend!

Perfect location, particularly for first time visitors to Athens. Rooms were modern and comfortable. The staff were super helpful and friendly. The breakfast room/ restaurant provided an excellent breakfast with a spectacular view of the acropolis. Highly recommended.

Great hotel with very attentive service in a terrific central location, near Plaka, Acropolis, Acropolis Museum and metro. The breakfast is amazing. Nice outdoor tables & bar on the ground floor. Expensive but very highly recommended.
