チャパラ湖が見渡せる部屋を予約し、 とても楽しみにしていたにも関わらず、異なるタイプの部屋を案内された。クレームをつけたが対応してもらえず、しかも、差額返金もなかった。 トイレが壊れていたし、テレビもよく映らなかった。

A great location and service made our first visit to Ajijic memorable.

The hotel has character ad the room was comfortable. The restaurant does not open until 9:30 am and closes at 5:00pm so free breakfast is misleading and you need to leave the hotel for dinner. When I checked out at 7:00 am I had to pay cash because the desk clerk did not have access to the card reader. When I checked in they did not have my reservation from Expedia, but honored the email confirmation from Expedia. So its desk services are frustrating and inconvenient. I would stay again because it is an interesting and arty habitation well priced and clean.

Nice property. Lakefront view. Trouble w toilet flushing properly, restroom needs updated. Challenges w check-in. Reservation was logged for incorrect days at hotel. Restaurant and staff were excellent. Overall good experience

I came here 20 years ago and not much has changed. Big rooms and nice free breakfast

The property is 50 years old and looks it. The rooms have been renovated and updated but are still dated. My biggest disappointments were the advertised air-conditioning and included breakfast. The AC blew cold but barely cooled the room. It was noticeably cooler than outdoors but did not cool down as much as I had expected or hoped. Despite this I was able to sleep fine. The first course of the included two-course breakfast was toast and coffee or tea. The second course was selected from a limited menu, two fried eggs, a frittata, pancakes, and included potatoes. TBH it felt rather small. Maybe I'm spoiled by the huge breakfasts included in the places I stay in Asia. On our last night there was a rainstorm around 1am that blew enough water into the room to cover the entire bedroom floor! The electricity went out and the battery powered emergency lights illuminated our room for the rest of the evening. Almost all of the lights and outlets were still dead when we left in the morning, but the AC continued to run after a brief outage. The location of the hotel is a 10-minute walk away from the town square. The sidewalks are narrow and the streets a rough cobblestone that challenges even the nimblest footed able-bodied folk.

Breakfast at nine, we get up at six. Second rate meals. Crabby receptionists. Horrible street to drive.No update since 1950, more or less.

Me encanta ese hotel, el personal y la atención es excelente pero en esta ocasión hubo algunos detalles que no me gustaron. La regadera goteaba todo el tiempo y en la noche que quise darme un baño no salió agua caliente nunca, pasaron 15 minutos de agua fria para comenzar a salir agua ligeramente tibia por lo que no tuve de otra para bañarme así. El piso de la refadera tenía muchos cabellos regados de los huéspedes anteriores, se nota que no lavaron y que sólo levantaron el tapete de ducha y ni una escoba le pasaron. El colchón de la cama muuuuy incómodo, no pude dormir bién, literal nos hundíamos y nos levantamos con dolor de espalda. En el piso superior al nuestro había un grupo de huéspedes que tenían música súper alta como si tuvieran fiesta y los gritos y las risas no nos dejaban dormir. Nadie les dijo nada ni fueron a callarlos, creo que hay que ser más considerados con los huéspedes que vamos a descansar, "Es un hotel no un salón de eventos" El hotel es bueno y tiene excelente ubicación pero si le urge una renovación de muebles y mucho mantenimiento.
