The room was very dated, and the bathroom was well past an update. The shower was moldy, etc. The staff seemed to be untrained and confused when checking people in. They gave another guest a key to my room, which I had already checked in to and had all my personal belongings in. It is not worth more than $90/night and would be a stretch to be a 2-star hotel.

Very clean and comfortable. Helpful staff. Good size fridge in the room. We didn't use the pool, but it looked lovely. Very convenient location... close to restaurants, quick shopping and a very nice park a short walk away. The bed was a bit firm for me, but the linens and the room was otherwise perfect.

Close to stores and restaurants

Great place to stay while travelling through. Very helpful front desk Staff. Dining for breakfast and dinner was fantastic. Our evening meal, with a platter with brisket, chicken, ribs, was absolutely amazing. Newer restaurant there, a must try for sure. Breakfast was really good and inexpensive. Great stay!

Great pool for summer visit. Not great rooms

Staff were really friendly! Loved our stay for 2 nights. Perfect distance from the beach. The local restaurant was really good as well.

Small town charm, excellent front desk staff and amazing smoked meat dinner in the restaurant.

The pool was outdoors and VERY warm. Difficult to cool down. Breakfast was not included, which was unacceptable based on the price of the room. The bathroom was in poor condition, with what looked like mold evident in some corners. Side security doors would not self close so on 2 different occasions we were able to walk right in to hotel without using the key card.

We recently had our wedding in the area, and this was the hotel our venue recommended for our guests and us. While this review isn't positive about the actual hotel itself, I do want to say that the staff was amazing and very helpful during check-in. There is hardly any parking by the actual hotel wing. Most of the property is a converted motel that was poorly lit and felt archaic. My groomsmen stayed in my room with me on Friday night. One of them slept on the pull-out sofa, which was broken when we opened it. The left bolt that attached the pull-out bed to the couch frame was missing, so the bed wasn't secured at all. The bathroom was filled with visible mold, especially around the shower/tub. The rest of the room also showed signs of water damage and mold. On Saturday night, my wife stayed in the room and was understandably not thrilled with everything outlined above. If our wedding weekend hadn't been so busy and chaotic, I would have addressed these issues with the hotel while we were there. Unfortunately, we weren't at the hotel long enough to deal with it, so I'm mentioning it here for any future travelers.

We were greeted late in the evening by a very well mannered and professional front desk and then led to a spacious comfortable room! Lovely start!

First of all, we arrived at 802pm and after numerous phone calls to locate the receptionist, he(nick) finally showed up. Nick was giving me attitude when trying to ask questions. The room he provided was on the top floor with lots of noise. The pool was adjacent to the room too. Slamming doors and regular traffic was enough to cut our stay very short. Another issue is when booking is done on line, paid in full, not happy having to redo the reservation at the front desk. We've been here few times, definitely won't be our first choice in the future.

Staff was great. The Gator BBQ is a nice addition to the hotel. The room itself wasn’t particularly clean. The hotel needs a major upgrade.
