Very comfortable bed and very cosy, clean room in historic gorgeous town - friendly staff too. Modern appliances in room for breakfast.

They have a Spa Bath. Had to move the microwave to plug in but good

Very good value for money. Central and within walking distance to clubs and shops, churches etc. Safe parking on site. The only weakness I experienced was keeping the dogs in the reception area. It smelt like they spend the whole there. Mind you, I love dogs, but other guests might not feel comfortable with it. Not a problem for me, just an objective comment. Thank you to the staff.

Neat clean room. Comfortable and well situated.

The location is good, next to the club which has good food. But, power points didn't work, lights did and thankfully so did the air conditioner. But no power otherwise, and reception closed. Bathroom door didn't close, shower head had as much water coming out of the joints as the head. I've stayed here for work many times over the years, but it's just looking and feeling a bit tired.

Clean, friendly and nearby

Perhaps not the most modern property, but it was spotlessly clean, lovely staff, had everything we needed, was warm and comfortable. Also close proximity to the town centre, and also right next door to the club with friendly staff and the best club meal we've ever had. Thank you. 😊

Room was absolutely perfect, lovely and clean bed comfortable and staff friendly and extremely accommodating. Air conditioner worked fine and the motel is centrally located to nearby places to eat all within walking distance

Great location to walk to shops from.

I'll start by saying this: the location is great, and the people at the front desk are lovely — and that’s where the high review ends. The room was like a magic eye picture; the longer you looked, the worse it got. At first glance it seemed fine for a budget motel, but once we settled in, every flaw started jumping out. Room was dirty. Carpet not vacuumed, tiles smeared, bathroom not properly cleaned. Shower was filthy and honestly dangerous. The bath/shower jets had an intake strong enough to suck in long hair. Tie it up or risk it. More power points than you can poke a fork at, but all in the wrong places — above the sink, beside the bathroom door, everywhere except where you actually need them. TV had no remote. Looked everywhere. Gone. Of the two Google accounts signed in, I’m betting the Michael family pinched it. Front desk tried to help, but the spare remote didn’t work. Dirty linen is unforgivable. The only spare blanket had what looked like a poo stain. Someone (probably the Michael family) wiped their arse on it and the motel didn’t wash it. Pillows were basically couch cushions; the throw pillow was somehow the best option. It was cheap for school holidays, sure, but cheap shouldn’t mean dirty, unsafe, or stained. Great staff, great location — terrible room. I wouldn’t stay again.
