When booking through Expedia you are given an option , pay now or pay at hotel ! I selected the pay at hotel option. However before I checked in I was charged . I explained that this should not happen as I wanted to use another form of payment . If given an option of pay at hotel you should be charged at Che k in not 4 hours before you check in . Now I have to wait for the money to be refunded on my card ! Gentlemen at reception was understanding but explained that’s there policy . Well don’t advise on Expedia you have the option to pay at checkin . Won’t be staying here again for that reason

Updated clean room

The motel was old but spotlessly clean and had all the required kettle etc. The breakfast was more than adequate and the staff were very friendly The location of the motel also made for a very quiet night.

Outdoor parking, easy for high 4WD vehicle. Breakfast had a good variety. Walking distance to shopping centre.

The room was spoltless and kleen, smelt fresh. Bed was great, pillows a bit soft for me, but thats a personal thing. Easy walk to the shops, it was very comfortable.

Overnight stay on the way to QLD. After hours check in simple. Easy parking. Room clean, comfortable and quiet with effective heating (cold in May). Convenient location a couple of blocks from the main shopping area. Highly recommend The Cottage Restaurant and Bar one block away along Barney Street. We got there late with no booking and they were very accommodating and the food was excellent.

Very easy to park. The room was spacious with reverse cycle Airconditioning. Very comfortable bed. Microwave kettle and toaster in the room. Continental breakfast was supplied which was very good.

The rooms were well appointed, with you need to prepare food, plenty of bench space and also well insulated. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

The room had been renovated, but the bathroom fittings were all a bit loose. The room was clean and had everything that was needed for one night but it was small. I had requested a ground floor room because climbing stairs is hard for me - and that was provided. Very good. A continental breakfast was available in a small dining room - very good.

Great location and comfy room. Bit unusual that the single bed did not have a doonah though - made for a chilly night in mid winter.

Great for an overnight stay for a family of 5. Easy check-in and parking. Staff very helpful.
