Awesome, room was immaculate, had everything you would need, walk to beach with bunnies and just a brilliant place to stay! Wish we could stay longer 👍

Everything was exceptional. Very much appreciated the free upgrade. Addy was welcoming and quick to address one very minor issue. Such a beautiful panorama of the water and well maintained grounds. Lovely to sit outside and be visited by George the resident peacock. Beds were very comfortable. Spacious and well equipped. Will definitely stay here again.

The wild life and the quiet

Definitely not four star accomodation. Very limited space. Nice view but this is not even a three star/mark accomodation.

We cannot say enough good things about Whitsunday Sands Resort. We have stayed here twice, and both times were fabulous. It is so close to everything at Horseshoe Bay. The rooms are wonderful. Our room opened up to a private cove where we could relax, hunt for shells and even take a refreshing dip in the ocean. The room was clean and comfortable. We couldn't ask for more. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Stayed with family , children and Grandchildren. Great location and friendly management and staff. Just a great place to stay close to a number of beaches and facilities.

Too much confusion for me. Firstly they stuffed my room up. They had moved me and resold my room - provided me with a couple of classic boomer lies. ‘Didn’t want you to be near kids, upstairs is better than downstairs’ etc. Now I had a room with two extra beds that I couldn’t use and no where comfortable to sit. I made a complaint via the check in process. This got fundamentally ignored. I got a ‘don’t reply’ message to go to office to speak to Janet the following day. Janet flatly denied sending me this text when I went there. Looked at me colder than a Tasmanian mother-in-law and couldn’t shuffle me off quick enough even though I told her my name and mentioned the text. When I got back to my room I received another nuisance text to go check-in although I had already stayed one night. Later that night I received another text. By this stage I was quite over this booking mistake. In short there are plenty of nice places to stay in Bowen, avoid the hassle and confusion of this place. I didn’t get what I had booked and picked up a few headaches along the way. Rose Bay does look nicer.

This is a great place to stay. the beaches are beautiful, the staff are welcoming, very helpful and always responsive. the rooms are spacious and have amazing views.
