閑静な環境にある歴史あるホテルで、きれいな景色と庭を楽しんでとてもリラックスできました。

とても素敵なホテルでした。スタッフさんも英語がわからない私をよくフォローしてくださいました。中庭で星を眺めました。最高！

12月に訪問。 中庭で子ども遊ばせながら夕食ができる。 バーの食事も飲み物もとても良かったです。

ワナカへ移動するのであれば良いが、立地はクイーンズタウンから遠く、かつ、山道。朝食はパンやハム、チーズなど、軽食であるが、美味しい。レストランと併設されており、夕食も食べれば良かった後悔した。内装はエキゾチック。共用のジャグジーがある。

建物が白を基調とした深い紅色の縁取りをした建物ので、中も昔ながらの内装でした。ニュージーランドの古き良き建築を満喫するにはもってこいです。ただ、僕の泊まった部屋は、他の客室と離れた場所にあり、車通りがやや気になり、ボイラー音が夜じゅう低い唸り声をあげていました。一人で宿泊したので、離れになったのだと思いますが、今度は家族連れで本館宿泊したいです。日中から夜にかけ、レストランは家族連れで賑わい、中庭に座り食事すると、夢のような時間が味わえるのでないかと想像していました。

Lovely clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed and pillows, wish we could have slept there again! We had dinner in the evening and shared the waffles in the morning, both meals excellent, nice beers on tap. Staff all lovely and very welcoming, friendly other patrons in the bar. Would stay again and highly recommend it to others!

Just a great place to stay, to Live a bit of history

We absolutely loved this unique, quaint hotel. Staff are friendly, food is very good. Just a little communication would have been nice regarding reception when trying to check in and out, also when ordering breakfast. We weren't sure where to go and to whom we should talk.

It’s really a perfect hotel

Gorgeous place, we stayed two nights for some down time whilst travelling for 5 months. Our room (9) overlooked the garden. Great bed with fresh white quality bedding, great shower. Excellent bar/bar menu and restaurant. The garden is gorgeous. A shout out to Dani working in the restaurant who’s great fun and also to Caitlin who gave us the best check in ever, took us to our room, explained the on-site menus etc. Breakfast here is also fantastic. All the staff were fabulous. You will hear people in the room next to you (muffled talking) but overall it’s a pretty quiet place. If you don’t stay at least stop by, get some food and wander in the garden.

Lovely atmosphere, staff were fabulous! TV’s a box and channels are fuzzy …. Possibly adds to the rustic charm. Room was comfy and well laid out. Rainfall shower head was great but shower barely made it to warm and sound proofing is definitely not a thing here. However, these minor inconveniences weren’t enough for me to not want to go back as it’s such a great spot with a cool vibe

Had a wonderful stay at Cadrona Hotel. Awesome atmosphere and gardens. Staff were very helpful and the food excellant. Especially the blue cod. Highly recommend any one to stay.

The Cardrona is a rustic gem, hidden behind the iconic front are a bar, restaurant, garden and multiple rooms. Our one "Roaring Meg" was made from what must have been two older very old rooms but done very well. Clean bathroom with good shower etc a bedroom with comfortable bed and a radiator that works! Temperature in late April was down to 1deg so the heating was needed. A well appointed bar with an open fire and then we had dinner. Menu was varied and had snacks to full mains. The soup of the day was tasty and was nearly the size of a swimming pool. Try the Lamb Rump - cooked just right and tender. We enjoyed traveling back in time but with all the modern addons it was a highlight of our trip.

Space was clean and it was a really cool area with a old school feel to it! The hot tub was amazing! Even with it being 0°c outside. There was no microwave or mini fridge in the room, so just double check the amenities list before booking your room.
