設備は古いが清潔であった。スタッフは親切で満足できるものだった。但し、部屋、もしくは共同スペースに電子レンジがあればもっと良かった。

ビーチに近い快適なホテル。パブの二階にあり、建物・設備は年数が経ったものですが、部屋は快適で、宿泊した部屋にはバルコニーもありました。尚、一回のパブは、宿泊期間中は 9 時閉店のようで、騒がしいこともなく、周辺も閑静な環境です。尚、チェックインはパブのカウンターで行いました。

Loved our huge room with wrap around veranda. Bed was comfortable, room was stocked with plenty of coffee, and the food at the pub was excellent. We could walk to the beach and other restaurants all very close.

Our stay in The Grand was good, but we stayed in the apartment which was awful. right at the top of the hotel, no lift so loads of stairs to carry our luggage up. the bathroom was really old-fashioned and needed ripping out. I believe the other rooms in the hotel have been refurbished.

While a bit dated the room was a good size and the balcony was great. Staff were friendly and generally helpful.

A cheap hotel and you get what you pay for. It is above a bar and the walls are very thin. Great female bar staff!

The room was classy, had everything we needed including a fridge, tv, kettle, spacious bathroom & shower, private balcony. Staff were very attentive and professional, food is available in the pub downstairs with daily specials available, tasted amazing. Location wise it is just up the road from Newcastle beach & the Newcastle light rail is a short walk away, definitely recommended if you are seeing a getaway up Newie!

Easy check in, very clean room with new bathroom, lovely toiletries supplied, excellent pub food and cocktails.

Staff were very good although there isn’t an obvious path when first arriving to check in. The room we had was large however there were quite a few areas that needed maintenance, bathroom power point hanging out of the wall, damage to the wall near outside window

An historic building but its well maintained. Cleanliness was good, food was good. Easy walk to everywhere in Newcastle (& we're over 70). Love the atmosphere, comfy beds & pillows! Easy booking & friendly staff gave excellent service. Nothing was a problem, everything explained. Only improvement would be better towels. Great memories,thanks!
