事前に上層階希望のメッセージを送付していましたが、返事はありませんでした。受付で再度リクエストを伝えたところ、偶然にも最上階の部屋でとても眺めも良かったです。 工事がされていて、受付も別の場所でそこは不便でした。また、お風呂のジャグジーは動きませんでした。工事の建物の部屋だったためかもしれませんが残念でした。 ただ、部屋からの眺めは最高ですし、次回も上層階の部屋なら利用したいです。あと、海からの風とファンで涼しかったですが、やはりエアコンに慣れた私としてはエアコンはあったはうがよいかなと思いました。

オススメのホテルです。 もし行く機会があれば、また泊まります。 かなりよかったです。 ホテルの立地エリアもよく、エリア全体が緑豊かで時間がゆったりと流れるリゾート感を醸し出しています。 カウアイ島の中で、一番、キレイなエリアではないでしょうか。 そして何より、車で移動したのですが、ハナレイビーチ最高です。 また、ホテルの受付の対応も丁寧で明るくて良いです。 ホテルの部屋も広く、かつ、キレイで、満足しています。 キッチン付きで、料理も手軽にできるので、よかったです。 また、部屋の中ではないですが、受付近くにあるプール、ジャグジーも満喫しました。

Club Wyndham Sheerwater is beautiful! The condo was well kept, beds were comfortable and the service was top notch! I will be staying here again in the future.

The view from this unit was stunning. Waking up to sunrise view from bed was absolutely magical. An easy hike down to a beautiful, secluded beach is just steps away. Spacious and well laid out, well stocked kitchen, and nice to have laundry. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Easy drive to Hanalei for variety of shops and restaurants. Would absolutely recommend!

Misleading Room Descriptions and Lack of Attention to Detail We were very disappointed with our stay at this hotel. The room we booked was advertised on both Expedia and ExtraHolidays.com as having a full ocean view, with photos showcasing stunning, unobstructed vistas. However, upon arrival, we discovered that only timeshare owners are offered full ocean-view rooms, and we were given a partial view instead. This was incredibly misleading and feels like false advertising. If full ocean views are reserved for timeshare owners, this should be made clear in the booking details. To make matters worse, the room alarm had been left set for 6 a.m., which woke up our baby—definitely not how we planned to start our vacation. When we brought this up to the staff, they claimed housekeeping has no way of knowing if a previous guest left the alarm on. I had to personally show them the indicator light that clearly shows when an alarm is set. It’s frustrating that such a simple issue wasn’t addressed as part of the standard room preparation process. Another point to note is that the hotel has no air conditioning. While this wasn’t a big issue for us during our stay, it’s something that isn’t advertised clearly, and it could be a dealbreaker for others depending on the time of year. Overall, the lack of transparency in advertising and the oversight in basic room checks left us feeling let down.

I was notified hours before checking in (while on my flight to the location) that they would not be able to accommodate my stay. The representative told me that the room was part of a timeshare and no longer available to me. This was odd since I received confirmation the night before that my room was ready for checkin. The alternatives provided were not in the same location nor would they comparable. I chose to get a refund and was fortunate enough to find a nearby airbnb as nearby resort locations were booked. Unfortunately the cost of the location was higher and unexpected. This experience was completely unacceptable and I caution anyone looking to book this location.

Beautiful location right on the coastline. Friendly staff. Cleanliness top notch. Enjoyed food trucks on site. Convenient location for the beach, Makai Golf Club, Lumahei beach and Hotel 1. Recommend visiting!

The only issue was the distance to main attractions like Waimea Canyon, but it was a gorgeous stay and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

3.5 stars feels about right. Nice ocean views, big balcony, and lots of space. Furnishings are of a good but not great quality, a bit dated. We were given an accessible unit for some reason, though we did not request one. The front desk at Shearwater has very limited hours, so if you are checking in after 4 PM, you have to check in at the sister property.

Great location and view. Nice patio a bathrooms both were moldy though. Check in is off the residence at a sister property that I wasn’t aware of.

It is an amazing property and we will likely stay there again. My main complaint is that the unit listed on the hotels.com website is not the unit that we received. The site showed an oceanfront unit with the balcony in the master bedroom overlooking the water. The unit we received had an ocean view from balcony but not the expansive view showed in the listing. I would have spent more money for the view but specifically chose that room because of the view.

Not much food, groceries, transportation or beaches around hotel. Everything is at least 30min walking and prices are extremely high compared to Lihue or Poipu beach.
