This beautiful hotel is set directly on the beach and has stunning views while also being private. Our group had three villas, each very comfortable, clean, unique and lovely. The service was excellent! Highly recommend Apa Villa

Ich bin schon einige Male im Apa Villa gewesen und bin immer wieder erstaunt wie die Qualität erhalten bleibt. Eine tolle Aussicht zum Insischen Ozean, hervorragendes Personal, riesige Zimmer umd Badezimmer, super sauber und das Essen ist einfach spitze.

Havre de paix au bord de la mer. Relaxation assurée! Placé à Thalpe, 5min à pied de la station de train de Thalpe, à 10min en tuktuk du centre de Unawatuna, le Apa villa nous a surpris par sa piscine infinie, sa proximité avec la mer et les belles vues. Le service était impeccable. Petit-déjeuner aux petits soins, chambre majestueuse avec salon privé. À recommander sans faute! Loin du cahos de Unawatuna.

Blissful Stay. Lovely landscaping, and beautiful rooms. The Staff was fabulous and very helpful.

Gorgeous hotel. Lap pool about 80 feet, running out to the ocean set in a garden of leaning palms. Butler service excellent! No swimmable beach, but go and stand in the ocean!

We had an absolutely amazing experience staying at Apa Villa. Its a stunning property with lovely views, very personalised service and total privacy. It was a special occasion for us and they made it even more special in every possible respect. Perfect for a romantic getaway as well as family time!

Wir waren eine Woche in der Apa Villa und haben jeden einzelnen Tag genossen! Die Zimmer sind stilvoll eingerichtet und der wunderschöne Garten mit den Palmen und dem kleinen Infinity-Pool lädt zum Verweilen ein. Da es sich um ein kleines Hotel mit wenigen (ca. 6?) Wohneinheiten handelt, ist es sehr ruhig und familiär. Das Personal rundete unserem Aufenthalt durch das aufmerksame Service ab. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder :)

APA Villa was even better than I had hoped, it suited us beautifully. Food was great and the staff were very accommodating with our very late, after yoga breakfast

Das Hotel kenne ich schon seit 5 Jahren. Zwischenzeitlich habe ich auch andere Hotels besucht aber..... bisher habe ich keine Alternative zu diesem gemütlichen Hotel direkt am Strand gefunden. Es zieht mich immer wieder ins Apa Villa. Ich fühle mich hier ausgesprochen wohl, es ist sehr ruhig gelegen, das Personal ist aufmerksam, die Zimmer absolut sauber und der direkte Strand mit dem Pool unmittelbar davor ist einfach traumhaft. Abends kann man gemütlich auf seiner eigenen Terrasse dinieren selbst bei starkem Regen sitzt man geschützt und kann das Naturschauspiel genießen.

Lovely settling excellent staff, although we of the opinion the place didn't have a manager. The place needs attention to detail throughout without large expenditure. One major thing is the pool, which isn't user friendly there are no proper steps to get in it, otherwise it is well kept. Finally the price is outrageous what with 27% being added to and already high price of $260 per night. Such a shame as this place could be a perfect retreat. We stay 15 nights.

The hotel staff and food were extraordinary! The hotel is tastefully appointed and the interior is a mix of traditional and modern.

Excellet experience to stay in this hotel. Very easy to find. The room makes you feel relaxed with touch of details such as anti-mosquito tools.

An amazon hotel with very beautiful and spacious rooms. We had the cinnamon suite which has the most beautiful bathroom without roof. The open-end pool is amazing with a view on the beach. The food is delicious and the staff is very nice and discreet. It was amazing and even cheap for what you get. I´d recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to relax for few days.

For a quiet, authentic stay with family or friends Apa Villa provides exceptional service in an intimate setting. The air conditioning could be substantially extended to cover larger areas of the villas than just the bedroom. I also found it not to work in some of the rooms which made for an uncomfortable nights sleep. The staff and service on hand were impeccable and for this alone I would highly recommend to others. This is a wonderful part of the south so is a flexible base to plan day trips to Weligama, Unawatuna and for the adventurous Haputale or Ella.
