This was our second time staying at the Break and will be coming back again! Staff is super friendly and helpful. We had a great couple massage at the spa. Close enough to all the activity of Newport, but calm and peaceful at The Break!

The Break is an adorable property. The decor is very New England beach vibes and the location was perfect for me to get to the start line of a 10K. I’m looking forward to returning during the summer. Oh, the breakfast was delish, too!

Everything was on point, Excellent interior design, spotless, service impeccable and friendly, food excellent, The pool was warm , clean and fabulous on a chilly day, the outdoor sauna was great. As guests we felt considered on every level with many unexpected extra comforts for example, fresh cookies in the hall way centers and a view of both sunrise and sunset. A super place from start to finish. We will absolutely return with pleasure

The room was super clean with a large TV and gas fireplace stove. Balcony with view of ocean and a wonderful restaurant upstairs to eat dinner. We plan to be back when we are in this area.

We love The Break - the atmosphere, the throwback 60’s beach vibe, the colors, everything is very special and a great venue for our Anniversary. The rooftop deck bar was not operating but they allowed us to sit out there and enjoy a beverage of choice and relax by the ocean view. The only constructive feedback is the king bed in our room was a little rough. We will be back no doubt.

It could have been cleaner. There were leaves and debris in the pool.

We loved our stay at the Break Hotel - its charming boutique style won us over immediately, and just kept giving during our long weekend in Narragansett! We were blown away by the rooftop bar/restaurant, our spacious room and our balcony's view of the nearby ocean, the fresh cookies, and the customer service we received throughout our stay :) Highly recommend staying here!

Great hidden gem

Hotel room was very nice. Super clean. Nice amenities. Quiet. Room gets an A. Restaurant on top floor is a solid B. Food was ok not great. Closes at 9. Restaurant staff was friendly. Extremely close to Block island ferry which is great. Definitely an A. Don’t be fooled by maps of how close you are the the beach though. It’s a private neighborhood so all those beaches are private and off limits to hotel guests. The nearest beach is a drive or a solid bike ride away. Rate: C If you are looking for great room the Break delivers. But for the cost it left plenty boxes unchecked. Overall: B- I would stay again but I would make sure to plan out my trip knowing that at the Break you’re not really near anything

Great stay

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I love the fun decor and furnishings. Super comfortable bed. Best nights sleep. Many amenities. Bikes, beach chairs, beach towels and fresh baked cookies😃 Awesome heated pool. We had a wonderful three day stay. The Chair 5 dinner and breakfast was delicious. We are coming back🤗for sure

The property is so peaceful. The staff is wonderful. We have been there many times. It's such a great get away.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location is easy to get to with plenty of parking. The hotel is clean and bright, pretty adorable! We loved laying out by the pool and relaxing. We would definitely return.

Very kind staff with a beautiful room and a stunning view. The lobby is clean, and my kids loved the little fish tank. Wish the bar could have been open while we were there though.

So cute loved it! Ask for the sunrise view, or higher floor for the sunset view.
