レストランがおいしすぎた！

Beautiful location, lovely house, tasty foods, clean room, I really recommend to book a lake view room. This choice was the best option for my travel in the UK. The nearest bus stop is “Blockhole Visitor Centre“, but I needed to go up hill road.

とても素敵なホテルでした。スタッフはフレンドリー。内装も美しく大満足です。自然の中の静かなホテル。お湯も問題なく出ます。駅からはやや離れていますが、599番のバスか、タクシーで行けます。4人だったのでタクシーの方が安かったです。

辺りの景色がとても良かったです.朝食もホテルでとりましたが、お値打ちでとても美味しかったですよ。観光する場所にも近く、楽しむことができました。

There is enough room to park a car. The room is so tidy and staff is kind.

スタッフは皆さん感じ良かった。ファミリールームは裏山向きで景色は見えない。その分かなり安いので寝るだけなら良いかも。その代わりバーやライブラリーからは絶景です(天候にもよる) 娘に重度フードアレルギーがあるので持ち込みを希望しましたがダメでした。対応出来るとのことで乳小麦卵不使用で作って貰いました。部屋に冷蔵庫がないので娘の食材保管に困りましたが厨房の冷蔵庫で預かってもらえました。最初は娘の食事の事でどうなる事かと心配しましたが結構オーライで(発作も起きなかったし)良かったです。

Nice stay excellent food , very good quality, the grill menu was good and was surprised by the high standards provided, decent rooms , showers abit hit and miss but wouldn’t let that put anyone off , great staff and nice people who are very friendly Local to lake Windermere excellent for country walks ..highly recommended

everything was clean and spotless , first night we had a meal in the restaurant which was was very , retread back to the bar which had a great hot open fire , are room was spotless and the staff where friendly and helpful , will return at some stage , highly recommend

Clean room great location and very helpful staff

We had an amazing weekend at Merewood County House.It was in a great location. Our room was huge with a great view of the lake. Everything was spotlessly clean and well set out. We had evening meals and breakfasts at the hotel and the food was excellent. All the staff were so welcoming and friendly and we couldn’t fault anything. Thank you

All areas were very clean, staff pleasant and food very good. One disappointing area, was the size of the double room, bed small and the mattress very uncomfortable. Overall a nice hotel.

We had originally booked a double bed, but they were out of stock, so they changed us to two rooms free of charge. Very kind of them.And the hotel has a very retro décor and a great atmosphere. You can play chess with friends by the warm fireplace while enjoying a beer. It's very pleasant

Great place

Merewood is a beautiful country house hotel. We had a perfect stay. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the hotel and its grounds are just lovely. We ate in the Arboreal restaurant and, wow, what a treat that was. Really couldn't have been better

Absolutely wonderful staff, front of house host was lovely and very welcoming. Beautiful cosy atmosphere in the three social areas we visited (bar,lounge and library). Lovely hotel overall, will need to try the restaurant next time as we arrived later in the evening. Very welcoming to our dogs which was much appreciated! Lovely rooms. Will definitely return!
