Wonder positioning of the room with lovely sea view, air conditioning and good facilities. Staff very friendly, helpful and welcoming.

This hotel was more than I expected in many ways. They said they had renovated in the past 10 years and congratulations they did so well! I don’t know how it was before and our room was in the annex building so all I can tell is what I experienced in 3days. Food was very good morning and evening ( not half board) , staff was very nice from checkin till out. And a super beautiful location overlooking the ocean . This place is not like other pretty attractive fisher villages ( of course I live these, too) but all you have is ocean. I’d love to go back there again.

The room and the view was spectacular. The bed extremely comfortable. The bathroom was really nice and modern. The reason for the lower rating was the restaurant. We had a bad experience. They reserve the tables for the local people. We were seated in the pub section close to the bar even though all other tables were empty. We arrived at 4pm, it was empty. We ended up between two wet and smelly dogs and getting poked by the gentleman standing at the bar behind us. The server was oblivious and waiting for “the rush”. There were many other empty tables when we left? The breakfast is served in the dining room. It is delicious. The service is poor they do not have the staff to support the patronage. Would not return to this charming hotel.

A lovely place to stay. If you want to stay in the main, older part of the hotel, ring them directly, don't book on booking sites.

Wir waren hier für eine Nacht. Schöne und saubere, wenn auch kleine Zimmer. Super Frühstück und Dinner und sehr guter Service. Das Hotel kann ich absolut weiterempfehlen.

Comfortable bed, soft but supportive. Good shower. Fantastic breakfast and staff.

The room was absolutely amazing. All the staff were incredibly welcoming. The views from the room were second to none, so good after our first night we asked if there happened to be another room free for the following night, luckily enough there was!

My wife and I stayed only one night, but we wish we’d had more time to enjoy the area and hotel. Kim checked us in, and she answered every question and took care of every need without trouble or delay. For the rate we paid, my wife and I agreed this was the best place we stayed on our 2 week journey around the southern UK. Access to the water, a nice walk to Land’s End, convenient breakfast and pub food, and complimentary coffee, tea, and round of lager were some highlights of our single day staying here.

Nice location as opposite the beach parking not on site but in Pay & display car park next door. Booked a premium room with sea views but view obstructed by scaffolding but was due to be dismantled soon. Room was nice but not exactly spotless as very dusty especially on drinks tray & lights, TV. Also Shower screen damaged and bathroom blind broken. With a little more care and attention & TLC checks before check in, the hotel could be really nice as fantastic location, especially in the summer for drinks.

The Old success inn is in a beautiful location. Check in was very smooth and the member of staff was very attentive and explained everything we needed to know. We stayed here with the view to doing parkrun at Lands End and on the website it shows breakfast is from 8am-11am, he was adamant it was only till 10am but made a note we'd be back in time. I since checked and their website does say 11am so be careful here. Our room was in the adjoining out door block. Very spacious and nicely decorated however the mould on the blinds wasn't so pleasant. We had an evening meal in the restaurant, i had the trout special which I have to say was lovely however literally a few hours after going to bed I woke clammy with cramps and spent till 2am with sickness & diarrheoa. I felt better the next day however come the evening i worsened again leaving me unable to eat my evening meal or breakfast and another night in the bathroom. On arrival home I then spent another 3days unwell. It does look like it was from the fish! I did email the hotel to make them aware but didn't get a reply. If this hadn't have happened it would have made our stay far more enjoyable.

Staff were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was great including Vegan cooked. Room comfy and great location.
