場所は町の中心にあり、ロケーションもよく、通りに面しており、目を引く素敵な外観なので分かりやすいです。　ホテルの中も、お部屋も古い歴史を感じるとても素敵な造りです。お部屋も清潔で快適でした。ホテル内は入り組んだ迷路のようになっていて見てるだけでも楽しめました。エレベーターはないです。ホテルのパブが閉まった後も２４時間いつでもお酒を頼めるのでお客さんがいなくなったホテルのバーでゆっくりできました。最高に優雅な時間を過ごせました。とても素敵なホテルですが、強いて言えば、夫も言っていましたが、ホテルの方に笑顔がなく、機械的な対応の方が多かったですがきちんと仕事してくれました。チェックアウトも１２時なのでゆっくり過ごせました。

歴史ある重厚な施設でした

夕食と朝食をいただきましたが、とても美味しかったです。残念なことは、隣室の話し声がまる聞こえだったこと。歩くと床が軋むので、廊下を歩く人がいると、まるで枕元を誰かが歩いているようで目が覚めてしまいました。

James at the front desk saw that our bags were delivered to our room while we explored the city. Breakfast was fresh, plentiful and hot. Staff was very thoughtful. Did not see any ghosts, but still had an amazing stay. Rye is very sweet and the Mermaid Inn is very special.

Staff went over and above to be helpful. Hotel was very old and quirky. Lots of character and charm. The broken radiator in my room was sorted out successfully. The toilet in the room did not flush terribly well and the shower low pressure. Lovely lounges to sit in and the restaurant was very attractive. We had a good breakfast.

My wife and I had a great experience. From the time we arrived and found a parking space for our car, until the time we drove out was amazing. Staff were courteous, friendly and very efficient. Food was fabulous. Room was well laid out, stocked and comfortable. Our stay at the Mermaid Inn enhanced our visit to beautiful Rye. Thank you.

Entering the hotel is like stepping back in history but with mod cons. The staff are very polite and can’t do enough for their guests. The room was spotlessly clean.

The staff are absolutely brilliant nothing was too much trouble. Our room was incredible ( We're in a four poster bed) The food was first class.

Lovely hotel in a historic building, with loads of character and great location for exploring Rye. Staff were very friendly and helpful. As it is an old building, the bedroom was cold, however we did have a mini electric radiator in our room plus an extra blanket which helped. The power of the shower was a bit like a trickle! I'm just glad I didn't have to wash my hair otherwise I'd still be there trying to rinse the soap out! :-D

Very friendly staff and excellent service

Nice hotel in a great location with parking, however it was very expensive for a very small room. It was hard for two people to get ready in there and it was cluttered. The shower had such low pressure and there were cracks in the bathroom walls. I expected more for nearly £200 a night!

Great place to stay- but bathroom facilities were poor- no decent shower etc. But it’s still a great place to say!

Lovely old quaint room without ghosts. Service in the bar and restaurants, for dinner and breakfast, was superb
