キャンディ滞在では是非おすすめしたいです。 夕食朝食付プランが良いです。 外にはロクなレストランがないですがこちらは夕食は非常に豪華なビュッフェです。 屋上のプールは綺麗で広いのにいつも誰もいなくて独り占めみたいに楽しめました。街中から2kmですが歩いても良いですし、Uberでトゥクトゥクが呼べて片道1ドル程度です。

高台にある眺めの良いホテルです。ロビー、客室とも豪華で清潔でした。 チェックインもロビーに座ったまま出来、またチェックアウトも迅速でした。 チェックアウト後すぐに客室を確認していただいたおかげで忘れ物を発見してもらえました。

ロケーションは、やや丘の上ですが、バスターミナルや仏歯寺から歩くことも可能です。荷物がある時は車かトゥクトゥクがよいと思いますが。 内装はフロントなど豪華な感じです。部屋は広々としていましたし、水回りも問題なかったです。 部屋で小さな蟻を2、3匹見かけましたがキャンディという自然に囲まれたエリアなら、虫嫌いの私ですが、まぁ許容すべきかなというところです。 wifiは早くはないですが普通に使えます。

One of the most impressive entrances I’ve seen and a very pleasant check in. Pool area very good, with a shaded area. Pool bar great for food and drinks with cracking staff. My single room was good, a few maintenance issues compared to the rest of the hotel. About a 20 minute walk down a steepish hill and a typically busy road, with shops and eateries, to the lake. Highly recommended.

Restaurant cleanliness and services needs to be improved

Looks good in the photos but the condition of rooms were very different. Very smelling wash room, which we realy put off and noisy air conditioning couldn’t get any continuous sleep. We do not recommend this place as our overall experience is very poor.

Fue una excelente experiencia para mi, el lugar es hermoso y el servicio es excelente, especialmente en el restaurante dónde te sirven tu desayuno. Las opciones de comida fueron muy buenas, a pesar que la comida es picante hay otras opciones que puedes elegir, siempre estuvieron dispuestos a ayudar y se preocupaban del servicio brindado. Quizás lo único que no es muy positivo, es que está un poco arriba del centro y algunas ocasiones me costó un poco conseguir un Uber para ir a los sitios de visita, en general Uber no es muy bueno en Kandy y si tomas un tuk tuk en la calle te cuesta mucho más o te ofrecen otros servicios y al final quieren cobrarte el doble. El hotel no tiene mucha información turística y me parece que valdría la pena tenerla tomando en cuenta que es uno de los lugares más importantes de su cultura, podrían mejorar este aspecto, pero en general fue una excelente opción para hospedarme.

I only stayed one night at the Grand Kandyan and only wish it could have been longer. From arrival to departure the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. I really enjoyed the buffet evening meal and also breakfast. If you visit Sri Lanka this is the place to stay.

Very enjoyable stay. All the staff were really helpful and welcoming. The room was spacious with nice views from the balcony over looking the city and hills. Rooftop pool was well maintained and I thought the gym had everything I needed. Breakfast and dinner had a wide choice of foods. I would definitively stay here again.

Food very bad and not clean

Wonderful opportunity but the hotel need to do something for the wifi because most of the places the coverage is bad Other than that the hotel is really 5 stars
