location and staff service is wonderful.

A/C in room was a nice wall unit, room was clean, hot tub was full sized outdoors and to temp of your choice with new water if requested, action center was all action and super friendly when guests approached staff. Big BuLA to this resort staff when you arrive . The restaurant was accommodating to food sensitivities when communicated, food and drinks were fresh and variety was sufficient for most and always served with smiles and love.

Staff are so friendly, Moses made a beautiful basket for me , he also guided a snorkel ing trip, which has been the most amazing experience ever for me. The resorts also gave my son a surprise birthday party and cake. The staff and some of their talented children sang very beautifully and danced amazingly.

We loved our 4 night stay here. It’s very casual, laid back and relaxing. Don’t come here if you want a Sheraton or Intercontinental experience, a late night party place or designer decor. There’s a bunch of things that could be updated (like the faucets and sinks) and some areas really could use a new coat of paint. BUT the views from the treetop Bure are amazing, and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There’s cultural entertainment every night. And it was lovely to take a kayak out to the point. The Sawa I lau caves are a bumpy 30 minute boat ride away and there’s a trail you can take to the other side of the island that was totally worth it. To see good reefs you’ll need to pay about $18 US to go on a guided snorkel trip. The included continental breakfast was very good, lunch and dinner was ok and the WiFi was terrible. But I would come back here in a heartbeat. It felt like home.

It isn’t one of the super flash resorts you can find, with pristine build quality and sanitised customer service, but it is rustic, remote, warm (climate and people) and thoroughly relaxing. The people are disarming and genuine, and brilliant. It was like being home and in a tropical paradise, somewhere for your soul to find rest. I recommend Nanuya Resort wholeheartedly.

The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful..excellent!!! Everything was wonderful.

When we arrived our aircon wasn’t working, at 31 degrees it was a necessity. They did not have another beachfront of the same category available, so they wanted an extra £50 a night( we were there for 7 nights) to put us in the next category. We refused and after a long discussion they relented and put us there for 4 of the nights. I have to admit both properties were shabby and needed an upgrade. The superior property had a hot tub in the outside shower room. It was dirty with about 2in of dirty water with 2 crabs in. Not a good welcoming start! It was impossible for me to get into the water along the whole length of the resort. They have built a protective wall with lots of slippery rocks to clamber over to get into the water, which is full of grasses . A lot further from the resort is a beautiful beach, sadly, it was too far for me to walk. You cannot use it on a Tuesday and Wednesday as it belongs to Blue Lagoon Cruises and they have it for their exclusive use when the ship docks there. The breakfast that was included was the worst I have had on 9 weeks touring. On the positive side lunch and dinner were the best I had in Fiji, there for nearly 4 weeks. The snorkelling from the boat was amazing, they were extremely considerate and caring. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly with Oscar, the bartender, the star of the show. Needless to say , we left the island early, without a refund!

It’s beautiful being way out in the islands. Best part of NIR was the staff; they’re very much like a family and are always saying “bula” and asking how you are. The food has great flavor. The free stuff; kayaks and snorkels are great; just take yourself over to Blue Lagoon. Guided snorkel was amazing as well with Moses. I opted to rough it with no air con; would probably not do that again but it’s all and all a lovely place

Very friendly staff

The people, I hated leaving. Beautiful resort, we stayed in the treetop cabin with a spectacular view overlooking the bay. Very quiet and the people made us feel at home. 5 star for sure.

The spa experience there was amazing! I did while body massage and manicure done and they were both satisfying. The staff was also friendly and nice

The staff at Nanuya Island Resort is the resort’s #1 asset. They are so warm and genuine and know you by name. They take so much joy in making sure that you are happy. There are so many staff that contributed to a wonderful visit but notable are Moses, Friendly Pete, Nir, Amare, Masi, Oscar, Suli, Sarah, Mere, Marie and more! I wish that everyone wore a name tag so that I could recognize them properly. NIR is beautiful but it is the staff that make the stay worthwhile. We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed the snorkelling, fish feeding and farm tour that the resort offers. The island is easy to walk around if you want to hike. The food was different for every meal and it was very delicious. Masi told us that it was made with love and it shows. Every morning we were serenaded with the Bula song and there was always music in the evening. There was live music each night and a special choir on our final evening. It was all so special. This resort is all about incredible staff in the middle of paradise.

An absolutely beautiful resort, well set up, nice restaurant, amazingly friendly and helpful staff, lots of activities, a little house reef that can be reached by swimming from the front of the hotel. A thing that I really appreciate and think is amazing and important is that there is a cool water tank where you can refill your bottle, so it's great to bring your own reusable bottle, rather than buying plastic bottles, keeping the island and ocean clean.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. Was really surprised with how great the food was especially the steak. There were plenty of activities to do and were well priced with the non-motorised activity being free. The beach around was very nice and good spots for snorkeling and shell finding. The room was nice with good amenities.

The staff were amazing, so helpful and nice. The food was so delicious. Loved our stay will definitely be back.

Great experience as expected. First time back on Nanuya Lailai for 23 years.
