Nice hotel in a lovely location Friendly helpful staff Food was very nice ,special shout to the chef for making a super peppercorn sauce for me Room lovely and clean Breakfast was great

Loved it, very cosy and would book again. The breakfast is superb and they had a vegan option

Loved my stay at Pettifers. Very helpful and friendly staff, quick check-in too. Rooms were lovely and nice and warm too. Food, amazing, as I love Indian cuisine, but other options are available too. The guys at the bar, were wonderful. Thoroughly relaxing stay.

Breakfast choice good however slow service

Very warm welcome and comfortable beds. However, the room we were allocated (10) was tired and dated, especially the bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful and some dishes (cooked breakfast; granola) absolutely delicious. However, they served noticeably low quality toast, marmalade and - most disappointingly - instant coffee. Overall an okay stay, but disappointing - based on the photos on their web page and previous reviews, we were certainly expecting better.

Lovely accommodation, friendly staff and food was great, only down side was radiators in our room did not come on so was a little cold.

Nice folk, but not enough of them! Breakfast was poor and the service sub-standard. No options for evening food other than Indian which was average quality and overpriced. Overall the hotel is tired and needs an uplift.

Good welcome at reception but no offer to help with heavy bags. Very steep, narrow staircase to bedrooms. Decoration tired. Some traffic noise from main road outside.

The location of the hotel in the village of Crudwell is very beautiful and charming, and overall our stay went well. The room was fairly spacious, although there are several aspects that could be improved. The hotel in general feels a bit dated and not particularly clean. Breakfast was not very satisfying and lacked attention to detail. The owners, however, are kind and welcoming.

Staff are very friendly and caring. It is an old building so cant expect it to be perfect. Our room was nice and on a very hot night, they had put a fan in our room, so slept well. Breakfast could be better. If you dont want a cooked breakfast (which was freshly cooked for us), there is little choice. Definitely stay there again

Bon séjour d'une nuit dans cet hôtel. Accueil très chaleureux, personnel très serviable. La chambre triple est assez grande. Le lit simple n'était pas très confortable (ressorts dans le matelas). Et les rideaux pas très occultants. Salle de bain OK et grandes serviettes de douche bien moelleuses. Petit déjeuner à la carte simple mais suffisant. Le restaurant indien de l'hôtel est excellent, du choix sur la carte, les plats sont copieux et les prix corrects. Il y a un parking sur place.

Stayed for work. Frank, the owner is a lovely friendly chap, with great local knowledge. My room was in dire need of updating. There was some black mould on the wall in the bathroom. The bed was not very comfortable as the mattress was worn out! There was no table to work on, just a tea and coffee table. The place is in dire need of an update! Breakfast was good but no homemade fruit compote as on the menu while I was there.

Booked it for convenience, I think it was correctly priced for fairly basic accommodation. Good in house Indian restaurant

Great option for family with great Indian food option for dinner. Breakfast was good as well. Great stay overall

Staff were lovely but this is not a hotel room worth £115. Very dated. Broken window. Wallpaper peeling away. Cobwebs all over the ceiling. Pipes that sing whenever anyone on this floor flushes a toilet. Walking in the front door to be greeted with buckets as the ceiling leaks should have told me what to expect.

Short mini break, first time visitors. Very dog friendly & would be happy to stay there again

Amazing stay and overwelming help from Frank when i really needed it. So good We've already booked for next year.
