ロケーションが良かった。バス停が近く、バスで出かけるのが便利、朝食などを食べられるカフェ、レストランも多く、街歩きを楽しめた。スーパーマーケットやコインランドリーも近くにあった。

朝食はビュッフェ形式だったので、フルイングリッシュ ブレックファーストは期待できなかったが、起き抜けに摂る朝食の 質・量としては特に問題は無かった。 エレベーターは無いので（設置されていないのが普通）、思いスーツケースを持ち運びするのは大変。 ただ、チェックイン中に、スタッフがスーツケースを部屋まで運んでくれて、とても助かりました。 ホテルスタッフは皆とても感じが良かった。 お風呂もジェットバスが備わっていてお得感があった。 バス停から徒歩1分程の距離なので、とにかく便利。

アンブルサイドのボート乗り場側の町外れにあり、観光とショッピングに便利でした。 浴槽がジェットバスでゆっくりできます。

Nice clean room , room was on the ground floor at the front so there was a bit of road noise . In hindsight as I was up early for a sporting event I should have asked for a room further away from the road . The bathroom was very nice but decor and furniture in the room was a bit tired , and the bed was not to me and my wife’s liking but that’s just a preference I guess . Generally a very nice place and perfect for our stay

Faultless stay. The whole place was immaculately clean. Being on motorbikes with very wet weather the room was lovely and warm for helping dry out clothing over night. Will deffinatley stay again. Breakfast lovely too plenty of choice and nice fresh food .

Room was spacious and overall comfortable. Great that parking is available but this came at an additional cost. The selection at breakfast was great, especially for a continental offer, although some items could have been slightly better quality. Staff were really helpful, especially in making late check in possible. Location of the property was amazing.

We spent a wonderful week at the Brathay Lodge. The room was very comfortable with a big high bed. Trevor, Karen, Zoe and Carol were very friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble The hospitality tray was well received. Parking was excellent alongside the hotel. The hotel was ideally placed, minutes from the town centre , shops, restaurants etc The only down side, I appreciate due to the age of the building, there was no lift which would have been helpful carrying our luggage up and down the stairs to the second floor. However this would not stop us staying at this great hotel in the future. Thank you all

Good hotel with good views and clean rooms. Rooms we stayed were compact with Mountain views. A great location in Ambleside. Bus stops with Public Buses towards Windermere are next door. The hotel didn't have lifts but the climb on the stairs didn't seem steep.but older people might struggle a bit. There's a £12 parking charge per day. Breakfast was included but very limited options and a limited window for an hour

Booking. Com charged me an extra £29 per day for a cooked breakfast which you apparently do not provide. The continental breakfast however was excellent. A grab handle would be useful to aid getting in and out of the bath, also I would have preferred a softer mattress and pillows. But otherwise a very enjoyable stay.

The hotel is in a very good location with local shops and restaurants very nearby. Its near the waterfalls and lake. Staff very nice. One minor things no cooked breakfast on offer but I could do with losing a few pounds.

Upon arrival there was ample parking places. Carol the receptionist was very welcoming and explained things clearly. The room was comfortable, clean and warm. The breakfast was plentiful and of good quality. Overall the place is a good place to stay.

Lovely hotel with great staff. Very clean although the room and bathroom were not huge. Newly decorated it was very clean - great shower. Great parking and access to Ambleside. Only grumble is the continental breakfast went out for cooked breakfast on 1st morning

Very friendly hotel located just outside of the main town centre. Parking was easy and reasonably priced, and the welcome by the host was excellent. The whole hotel was very clean, comfortable bed, nice shower bathroom, and a good selection for breakfast. Would definitely stay again.
