Excellent service

We stay here yearly. Because of the convenience to restaurants and the border. I also booked because they advertise PETS STAY FREE. However upon checking in, they requested $150 pet deposit stating that it was new. and it had to be in CASH ONLY. NO RECEIPT as it was not on their computer system to add it for a receipt.I got it back in the end. My point is what about families that are on a budget get there and don't have an extra $150. Dont charge it until its on your website advertised so people know and when your computers have been updated to give a receipt for the deposit. I asked to speak to a manager but she told the front desk to just tell me that it is what it is, that I had to pay the Pet Depsit. Its also time to redo flooring as the flooring in our room had several laminate plants separating from each other showing big gaps.

The staff was excellent; the a/c and refrigerator were to the noisy side. The doors attract noise because the guest across the hall had his phone conversations on speaker which kept me up until midnight. That’s not the hotel’s fault but people who lack respect and common sense.

Front desk clerk was very professional. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Shower was nice steady strong stream.

Even though I requested a handicap room for my elderly father who walks with a cane they instead gave him a second floor room with a broken elevator. The rooms left a lot to be desired. Beds were horrible, didn’t even have cups in the room for water.

The elevator didn’t work and the pool was a joke. About the size of a large bathtub and very dingy.

Rating is a 3 based on the walls "not soundproof". Stayed with a relative that did nothing but complain about the hotel, the 'towels were too flimzy', 'humid' and then here come the noise level. We were there the 18-20th and on last night, very noisy and hard to sleep. A couple got into a fight, wife wanted to go to bar, arguing with spouse, threw the TV remote control against the wall. Was very hard to sleep, had to call the front desk. Next morning, we learned 5 -6 cops on the premises. STRONGLY suggest to management to get those walls sound proof!. Other than that, the right price for a very cleaned hotel. Not sure I'll be staying there though I like the location.

It was a wonderful place for the night we enjoyed everything about it.
