すごく大きなマナーハウスで、貴族になった気分？で快適に過ごせました。部屋も清潔で広いです。敷地も広く、ゴルフコースになっています。裏側にはお城の廃墟があり、散歩するととても気分がいいです。ロンドンではこのレベルは500ポンドくらいするでしょう。ロンドンから1時間くらいかけてもこちらに泊まったほうがいいです。

Hotel in stunning grounds. Spacious, staff very welcoming and helpful. Food very good and nice to have a choice for breakfast and cheaper option than full english breakfast. Very good value for money.

The hotel itself was clean and the grounds are gorgeous. However, it is very outdated compared to the photos and there was no way to alter the temperature in the room so it was very warm. The toilet wouldn’t flush every-time and the shower head wouldn’t stay up so was angled very weirdly. I booked through hotels.com and paid and was then asked to pay again at the desk as I hadn’t paid so ended up paying double as I book the room so long ago and when I showed the email the lady at the desk stated that I would get that money back and needed to pay again. Hopefully the issue regarding the payment will be resolved but overall the hotel isn’t worth the money but the staff are lovely.

Staff were helpful. The property has so much potential, but is a little tired.

We loved the older Country Club charm. It was beautiful to look out at the water from our room and walk to the castle ruins. The dining is charming as well! Great spot for quietness. We will come back!

The rooms certainly need an upgrade, and perhaps facilities for a late night drink and something to eat. But the grounds are lovely and it’s walkable from most big tourist areas.

Very pleasant overnight stay. Excellent food and service from friendly staff. Attractive setting. Spacious room with comfortable bed. Warm despite the cold weather. Pleasant short walk to Donnington Castle with superb views over surrounding countryside. Decor and fittings in the room looking tired but generally clean.

Our room was absolutely lovely. Large, airy and comfortable. Excellent shower but we did not like the extractor fan which came on when the lights came on automatically and stayed on for about 20 minutes- not good in the middle of the night.

The staff were very friendly, especially the receptionist. This is an old Manor House that is listed, so they are restricted by what improvements they can make. It has a lot of character and charm and was very reasonably priced.

The room was very run down with a threadbare carpet and no bulb in one of the bedside lamps. The room was at the top of the building and no help was offered with carrying my luggage up the stairs. The bathroom was antiquated and the dodgy plumbing kept me awake as it made a tremendous noise every hour or so. The staff were cheerful and friendly but seemed inexperienced and there were very few of them. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds but could do with major improvements.
