ポスピタリティー溢れるリチャードさんとポーラさん夫婦が経営するB＆Bで、心身ともに快適な滞在でした。ウィンダミア駅から徒歩１０分ほど。バスを利用する場合は、５９９番のバスに乗車して５分ほど走った４つ目の停留所Baddeley Clockで下車　徒歩５分弱で到着できます。

It was a wonderful environment. However, takeaway food or hot food in the room was prohibited. I had to go to a meal about over 20 min by walk or so away at night.

Windermere駅から歩ける距離だと思ったのですが、ずっと坂なので、バスを利用しました。チェックイン時間より早い到着だったのですが、事前に相談したところ、アーリーチェックインさせてもらえ、とても助かりました。Paulaご夫妻はとても気さくで優しくとても親切でした。朝食は8:30〜で、毎日前日中に次の日の朝食希望時間とメニューを記入します。どの朝食もとてもおいしく、とりわけフル・イングリッシュはボリューム満点。朝から幸せな気分になります。私たちは3泊しましたが、オプショナルツアーなどで朝はあまりゆっくりできず。とても居心地がよかったので、次回も是非利用したいと考えますが、その際は朝ゆっくりできる旅行プランにして、おいしい朝ごはんをゆっくりいただこうと思います。

Landlordの方が熱心で責任感が強く、石積みの家の内装にもメインテナンスにも力を入れています。ウィンダミア駅とボーネス・ウィンダミアのちょうど中間にあり、クルマのある方には最適と思います。メインの道路沿いではないので、エクスペディアで見つけて事前予約するのに向いています。今回、私はクルマが無かったので、バスを使いました。バス停からも徒歩5分でした。理由はわかりませんが、バスがよく遅れることは想定しておく必要があります。

ウィンダミア、ボウネスの町のちょうど中間あたりに位置しており、どちらの町にも徒歩15分程度で行ける距離です。とても綺麗なB&Bでお部屋も広く快適でした。ネット環境も良好。朝食は前日までに食べたい物と朝食の時間(8:30-9:15の間)をチェックするかたちで、ご主人が作ってくれるのですが、とても美味しかったです。また、ご夫婦2人で経営されているようですが、チェックインの時や食事の際など、色々と話しかけてくださり、町のオススメの観光スポット等も教えてくださいました。また機会があればぜひ利用したいです。

The bedroom linen and bathroom towels were clean and comfortable. The owners are living on the premises. There is no dining room in the house, nor fridge or microwave oven in the room.

Lovely guest house! Welcoming and comfortable. Big rooms and fantastic breakfast. Easy walking distance into town and parking was readily available.

Friendly, helpful owners. Super breakfast choices.... All in all a homely place to stay.

Great stay in a prime location for Windermere and Bowness in Windermere. Hosts were great along with the freshly made breakfasts each morning.

Lovely friendly place to stay. Paula was very welcoming, and the room was immaculate, and clean. We had breakfast and it was lovely, plenty to choose from and paula cannot do enough for you on your stay. Thanks guys for your hospitality we will be back.

Paula was a delight! Loved her advice and helpful tips. Our little family room was perfect and so cozy. The house is perfectly located close to the Badderley Clock Tower bus stop, and perfectly situated between Bowness and Windermere. Breakfast is not to be missed! Everything was locally sourced and delicious. Highly recommend!

Richard and Paula the hosts were very pleasant and helpful. Place was clean and immaculate. Safe off road parking. Top marks for where the property is sited, with in walking distance of the lakes, shopping and dining.

An amazing stay at Kirkwood House! Richard and Paula are superior hosts and really nade sure our stay was exceptional. Our room was large and very nicely furnished. Breakfast was great.
