Great place to stay and soo convenient for the arena - perfect night (and parking too)

Lift was broken, but luckily only on the second floor. No offer of help with luggage. Room was basic with no kettle or hairdryer. Really convenient for the Arena and only a short tram ride to Meadowhall. Would consider staying again, but would depend on who I was travelling with as the only way out of the shower was into the room, and there wasn't enough room in there to get dressed.

Very expensive for a budget hotel, no tea and coffee in the room, room very small and not much in it. Location is great for the Arena.

For the price right next to the arena it was great, could of done with another pillow and bedding rustling when any movement but for price was fab

When we arrived, the manager was very friendly & helped Carrie bags to the room, as the lift was not working, he apologised for this, & told use, to call reception, if we needed any help, over the next 2 days, Which we did, On several occasions, as room was on 4th floor, Staff always responded to our, requests for help, in a friendly way, nothing was to much trouble, This is the 3rd time I've stayed here, last 2 occasions the lift was working, The aircon in the room, really helped, as there was a heat wave, the weekend of my stay, the staff have always been, friendly & helpful here, That's why I've booked my room again, for next year's convention.

Hotel was good, needs a refresh but it was convenient for the arena - just a short walk away

Clean room, no separate shower room all in same room. No drink facilities in room but can be purchased from reception at a cost. Parking chargeable, plenty to do near by and in walking distances with plenty of nice food restaurant choices, bowling alley, cinema, mini golf, monkey business kids play area.

De kamer was klein maar schoon. De eerste nacht niet kunnen slapen omdat het bed verschrikkelijk hard was. Matras dun en doorgelegen en de lattenbodem eronder was "verstevigd " met een dwarsbalk waardoor de lattenbodem geen functie meer had. Een extra matras was er niet (hoe moet dat dan als er iemand een ongelukje heeft?) Maar ik heb een extra dekbed meegekregen die ik 2x dubbelgevouwen op het matras kon leggen. Nog niet comfortabel maar wel minder slechte geslapen.

I always stay here when Sheffield. It's friendly, clean and comfortable. I will continue to stay here in the future

If you looking hotel next to the Sheffield Ice Rink, this is best,just next to the Ice Rink. Clean, enough parking, great facilities, very helpful staff. Only remember, this is budget hotel, not 5 star hotel. For the Budget hotel, absolutely great.

Unexpected parking charges spoilt a good price. Manager’s suggestion of if you don’t want to pay , park outside was less than helpful. My expectation was low but they managed to miss this low bar. I will not be using ibis again.

The room was clean and so was the communal areas. Location good for the ice rink, hence the selection of the hotel. Downside - I booked as it was advertised as budget but there are all the hidden extras. Breakfast was extra at £8.50 each and was only a two types of cold pastries, limited cereal, toast and a couple of toppings. Not worth £8.50. No kettles or tea/coffee in rooms - that you had to pay for but the hot water downstairs was complimentary which you had to carry upstairs if you wanted a drink in your room. I had to buy tea and some milk in order to have a drink in my room. No hairdryers or anything in the rooms at all. Just a bed and two thin towels. There was shower gel in the shower though. NO FREE PARKING - I had to pay £17.50 to park at the hotel for two nights. On the plus side - the room was functional, the beds were comfy and the water was hot but no room to spin a cat and the shower and sink are right next to the bed. So whilst it's advertised at budget, all the extras I had to pay for made it not budget at all and wished I'd booked at the Premier Inn opposite.

Was slightly concerned after reading some of the reviews, but shouldn't have worried at all! We had a room on the ground floor, but noise wasn't an issue at all. We were there in a heat wave but the room was super cool throughout which was a god send. I found the bed really comfy, and slept for a blissful and completely unheard of 11 hours!! The only thing missing was a kettle, but I would certainly book again, and absolute bargain for the price I paid!

We couldn’t get parked at the hotel but managed to grab a free space on the road outside. For less than £35 for the room, it was better than expected. Would stay again.
