Good

Our room and bathroom were clean and modern but the entrance and staircase were very scruffy and the outside of the hotel needs a lot of attention. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was good. Parking was OK. The location is very good with grass down to the river and seats. down to the river.

Good parking. Lovely location. Friendly staff. Breakfast could do with black pudding/fried bread addition in my opinion. Loose bathroom fitting and sink plug not releasing easily but overall a lovely stay in a good location. (Room 83)

Mycket trevligt lantligt läge nära Oxford. Nära till Park & Ride till Oxford. Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Mycket god mat, såväl frukost som kvällsmat i restaurangen. Fri parkering.

Room - cosy but there’s cosy and then there’s cosy. View from room great. Breakfast great and cooked to order. Parking plenty. Staff very friendly and helpful. We have stayed here before and there is no doubt it is being brought back to its former glory but as with all things it takes time and money to do complete referb. So still looking tired in places but in the up and we will stay here again.

The location of this hotel is very picturesque and , for us was perfectly located. The staff were very friendly and helpful though they were very understaffed for both our evening meal and breakfast. I can imagine that the hotel in it’s peak would have been an amazing venue but sadly now it is suffering from a lack of upkeep and showing real signs of tiredness in both the rooms and generally around the Hotel.

Superb value for money. Really pleasant room. Looks out over the river. Breakfast was a treat. Invited out to dinner so cannot comment.

Lovely large room and bathroom, very clean. Building was a little tired and the tv didnt work but overall the hotel was fab.. the location, food and staff were excellent.. would definitely go again.

Always a nice place to stay.

Heating was on all evening making for an uncomfortable stay and had to open window which when cars started going past from 0500 wasn’t the nicest experience. Plus the TV didn’t work. Decor in the room very dated and the toilet seat almost came off in my hands
