Very quaint hotel. Enjoyed dinner and breakfast. I recommend.

Very comfortable and clean

Had an amazing stay in tasteful and clean bedroom with comfy bed lovely Pillows and great bathroom. Lots of tea and coffee. Had dinner and breakfast in the pub and they were really tasty. Properly cooked bacon! Great wine list with lots of option. Really lovely beer garden and covered courtyard. Lovely staff. Also v close to Hambledon so a good base to visit there. Really recommend.

I didn't need a shop, so I don't know.

Such a lovely find and a 3 mile walk to Hambledon vineyard. So handy for a base. Food was great and pub atmosphere was wonderful. Thank you.

Lovely place too stay

Everything is excellent! The room is beautifully equipped, with superbly comfortable bed, brilliant shower, decent size bath and good Wi-fi. All staff in the pub were friendly and served us with good humour at breakfast, lunch or dinner. Food was brilliant (we ate there every night). Location was just what we were after, small village with no shops, but easy driving distance from larger centres. Plenty of walking trails nearby. Highly recommended.

The room was comfortable and clean. Basic, but what we needed. The food and staff were excellent! We ate there all 3 nights. Extremely english. Extremely country. Highly recommended.

Overnight stay for my wife and I. Our accommodation was excellent in lovely setting and very comfortable. Dinner was great, well presented and terrific staff who were very helpful. Breakfast equally good

We had a great stay at the white lion and the food was also wonderful. The staff was very polite and everything was spotless.

Great one night stay after attending a wedding in the area. Well appointed room, in adjoining stable block, with bottled water, comfy bed and great shower. Lovely breakfast. We were also given a courtesy call on the day to check we were still coming as we were at the wedding. Highly recommend.

Stayed overnight before starting a cruise. Very good restaurant, service & bar. Excellent breakfast. Staff friendly. We will definitely stay again as very handy for Southampton.

Staff was incredible, food was delicious and room was small but comfortable and like new. You can’t beat this place for an authentic English countryside experience!
