Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel location is great, right next to the beach. The staff were very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was good, although some vegetables would have been nice to have (it was mostly eggs, pastries, cereals and dairy). The big problem was that some mornings there wasn't enough room to sit for all guests. The breakfast room is really small and unable to accommodate all guests. The indoor pool was nice, but it felt like it wasn't cleaned every day. The rinse-off area when coming from the beach, which is right under the pool, was not cleaned frequently. And it would be nice to have something in the rooms with no balcony to dry wet clothes or towels.

Stay was Great. Except for the 4 am wake up fire alarm and the room above had unleashed rug rats running and jump until 2 am. I know the fire alarm couldn't be help but acting like nothing happened sucked and for the hell kids we will always and forever book the highest floor.

Nice would stay again

When we arrived, we were an hour early for check in, but the staff checked us in. They were very friendly.what I did not understand or still do not understand, is why I was charged a separate 200 dollar fee on top of the remaining balance, that was never explained and Never received a receipt explaining the charges. The room air conditioner did not work the entire stay.

I think the free breakfast was not very good. I hated that we didn’t have a bathtub like properties state that the room had when I booked it. But overall it wasn’t a bad place to stay.

The property is in need of updates and repairs. The breakfast offered was great. lots of options. housekeeping could be improved. price is too high for the quality of the rooms. staff is friendly and helpful.

Expedia was the cause for our poor stay, I will never book through Expedia again, and am telling my retired peers how they "legally" scammed me. We were totally mislead on our room which overlooked no water, just the parking lot. I sure paid enough money to see the ocean, unfortunately we just drove back home today with an occasional look of the sound on NC 12. My wife an I tried to walk over the dune to see the ocean but neither of us were physically able to walk over the dune to see the ocean at this Holiday Inn.

Hotel was comfortable and staff was friendly. The breakfast area was small which was a little tricky when you hit peak breakfast times.

This hotel had beach access, my family and I enjoyed being steps from the beach.

In a great location! The beach was beautiful. The hotel was very clean. Breakfast was very good...especially the pancake maker!!! An outdoor pool would be nice, but we did fine without it.

Personnel was very helpful and friendly. Got recommendations on restaurants in area that turned out very good. Beds made and room cleaned everday. Friendly and helpful staff.

Comfortable and clean. Accommodating staff. Awesome free breakfast buffet and the location was perfect. Our 2nd time staying here and we plan to go back again.

The price we paid was for oceanfront. We were place facing the street.

We wanted to check out the Outerbanks on our way home to New England from South Carolina. Wish we were there for more than an overnight. The hotel right on the beach with an ocean view balcony was a beautiful stop on a long car trip.
