Staff is so kind and always friendly.

急な宿変更が必要になり利用しました。 室内にトイレとシャワーブースがありますがベッド部分との仕切りがカーテンのみ。シャワーの調節も難易度高です。客室は清潔にしてあるし可愛らしい感じですが、本当に寝るだけという割り切りが必要かも。ただフロントの対応はあたたかくて親切。タラゴナの地図をくれておすすめの場所を教えてくれたり、チェックアウト後の荷物も遅くまで預ってくれるなどマイナスを補うものもある宿です。チェックインが済んでいれば、戻るのは遅くなっても大丈夫でした。

電車が止まって急遽１泊したホステル。古い建物をきれいに使用していて、私の泊まった部屋はバストイレが専用だけど部屋の外にあるやや不便な造りがら、オーナーの優しさや心遣いでそういった不便さは吹き飛んだ。ドライヤーやスプーンなど必要な備品は頼むと快く貸してくれるし、この街を楽しんでね、という気持ちがすごく伝わる接客をしてくれる。予算の限られた一人旅だと、立地・部屋の清潔さと同じくらい、スタッフの親切さが思い出を左右すると実感させられた。次回行くことがあるなら、また泊まると思う。

This was a cost effective place for me to stay as I am traveling solo. The staff were very helpful and kind. Overall, I had a good experience here and would recommend it to a friend. Xavier was a legend.

The hotel is well-located for walking to the amazing cathedral as well as the marina.

The staff were extremely kind and helpful with giving directions and interesting information about the area (thank you Hector!). The hotel is not fancy, but as it is an older building it has charming characteristics and it also felt safe. I greatly appreciated being able to use the common meal area for light meal prep and having somewhere to sit and eat breakfast in the morning. The hotel is an easy short walk from the inter-city bus station and is also a short walk to Playa de Miracle and the Rambla Nova/heart of the city.

Very friendly staff, easy check-in, the beds are very comfortable and the room cute. Will definitely return.

Maybe my favorite hotel ever. This hotel was perfect for me. If offers the ultimate combination of location, friendly and helpful staff, and value. I’m going to admit a little trepidation as it sits in a narrow alley at the border between the seedier part of town downhill and the historic center uphill, with its fantastic eating choices, clean streets, and noteworthy historic sites and buildings. Turns out a perfect location about equal distance to train, bus, and city center (all less than 15 minute walk). Staff went out of their way to outline the best walking tour and explain exactly how my bus to the AVE train station would work and cost (exact change is recommended). While they don’t offer a breakfast, they offer a 1 Euro coffee machine and a wonderful tabled area to store your own food, complete with shared fridge, plates, silverware, tea, and vending machine. A wonderful place to organize your papers or plan the next leg of your trip. My room was surprisingly large, with own bath. Very small shower, but lots of pressure and no shortage of hot water. I stayed two nights and Friday night was loud outside, but hey it’s Friday night in downtown and people are going to party a little. Quiet when it counted, between 1 and 5 and not too loud regardless if you are on the 3rd floor. I heard nothing from my neighbors, which makes me think they did a little soundproofing. Little things like loner umbrellas at the door and the Roman mascot made it special.

All the reception folks were awesome….I mostly dealt with Xavier and Hector. So helpful in suggesting the places to see. The hotel is walking distance to everything so very convenient. My room was quaint…I enjoyed it with the sweet balcony full of character. The bed, however was too hard for me. Also I guess a bar or two are close so folks would be talking loudly even at 3am so ea plugs were essential to get a good night sleep.

La estancia ha sido de lo más cómoda, empezando por el recepcionista, Marc, que me ha atendido de una manera impecable, con una muy buena cordialidad. Las instalaciones estaban muy limpias y aseadas. El ambiente es tremendamente familiar, que te hacen sentir que estás en casa. Muy contento fe haber escogido este hotel.

Os proprietários são muito solícitos, atenciosos e simpáticos! Têm uma preocupação exagerada com o meio ambiente, ao ponto das torneiras da pia e do chuveiro serem de pressão com tempo limitado. Então vc se molha, acabou a água, se ensaboa, e a água fica picada. Como fui no frio, nesse meio tempo vc fica com o corpo molhado e com frio, pois a água não vem quente logo!

Our warm and kind host made our day wonderful with his warm welcome. The location is excellent, clean, safe, comfortable, with tea served in the lobby and supplies to heat and eat if you buy food from outside. We loved Tarragona and Pigal very much, thank you.
