Un lugar amplio para disfrutar de diferentes piscinas

Just a heads up for English speaking travelers, that only one peraon who worked there spoke a little English, which is understandable but just an fyi. It made check-in a little difficult. The shower did not really work. I was only there for a day. It is nice for a more rugged kind of place. A little run down, but unique. The people where nice and helpful despite the language barrier. Again, I am not saying the people who live in rual Costa Rica should know how to speak English of course, but just a heads up to be sure you bring your translator app. if you don't speak Spanish.

L'hôtel est comme à l'abandon. Tant que des travaux ne sont pas faits, ne surtout pas y aller. Nous avons été en février 2026 et avons dû écourter notre séjour tellement c'était horrible.

En la habitación no hay agua caliente en la ducha

The room was ok, average. Staff is ok, condition of the place average. But (a great but) the place is exactly at the front of a cow dairy installation. The terrible smell is undescriptible. Day and night. If you are sensible to smells, not good.

Nos dieron habitación sucia, luego nos cambiaron, la cajera del restaurante fatal su actitud como sino quisiera trabajar, falta iluminación, no está mal todo pero le falta mejorar instalaciones y personal. Parque acuático super fría el agua.

The accommodations are as to be expected in Costa Rica. The AC unit was working but the WiFi was not. We were dissuaded from dining at the on-site restaurant, but given breakfast passes. It’s possible we’re here in the off-season, as we were told the Dino Park and Water Park are open weekends only—but those areas were dry and looked to be in disrepair. Only three pools at the hotel were open with water, and one was full of algae. But my family had a blast in the warm water pool with the slide, and we had a delicious dinner just a couple km down the road.

The staff is great! It was a wonderful stay close to so many places; coffee, caña and chocolate tour; sloth tour. Town is very close and close to so many authentic restaurants. Just bring your own shampoos.

This place was once someone's dream. You can tell they initially put a lot of work and effort into building it. However, as time has passed, this place has fallen into disrepair. The one highlight is that the room was pretty clean.
