Nice place and friendly staff. Just needs some updates, bathrooms for example, and remove ALL carpeting! Aside from that, I would def book another trip and stay there.

The hotel is clean, quiet, beautiful and the staff is amazing. Front desk was super accommodating and friendly and thoughtful and had terrific maid service every day. It’s close to the beach and boardwalk. The rooms have excellent ac and working refrigerators. Literally the only downside was the bed. I’d stay again but bring a mattress topper.

Why Expidia have these type of deals?. I could cancelled my reservation Expedia didn’t allow it. The front receptionist did the best she can Simon. The first room assigned to me was in very very poor condition to stay( bad smell, the wall was damaged of water) I don’t understand how they have that for a guest. The second room thanks to Simon was a little better but not the best. I don’t recommend this motel.

The description online does not match the room we received. It was very dirty and not well kept. We checked out within an hour and ended up staying at a different hotel. They did immediately refund our money and the staff was very polite and understanding.

Bathroom is filthy outdated dirty sink and tub

Overall we had a good stay. The staff were nice and helpful. The room was clean and slightly remodeled. There were no lamps at all only one ceiling light in each of the two rooms. The bathroom was outdated and very tiny but it got the job done. There was a bedroom with no closet and no tv and seemed like an after thought. It was kind of creepy feeling so we stayed in the main room. The bed was very hard and covered in plastic which was noisy. There was a very tiny tv and the sound was really hard to hear over the in wall air conditioner. We had a very expensive order of pancakes and French toast at the diner that is there. Food was decent but $35 for breakfast seemed pricey. Overall it wasn’t bad and the room was affordable.

The motel Was basic at the most. Bed was hard and uncomfortable and other bed in living room was not very comfortable. Despite the motel being rundown it was fine for a few nights stay close to beach plenty of parking and very quiet at night other guest were very friendly

It looks like the property needed some attention. There was weeds all around the other shrubs. As far as the pool I wouldn’t even think to go in it, the pool guy really had zero interest in taking care of it. There was black dirt buildup on the railing dividing the kiddie pool from the deep end it was so nasty. It just needs some updating. Even with the employees (definitely the pool guy) and most definitely work attire.

Staff was very good and polite. The rooms a bit out dated but kept in good condition. The shades for the window do need to be thicker or something. I woke up thinking it was at least 7 in the morning and it was 3am LOL. Way to bright. Stay was great,.nice pool, nice staff.

This is a motel built probably in a 1960s. The bathroom fixtures are all still original as is the tile. You will see rust stains in the cast-iron sink at the drain and overflow tube. The toilet has low water pressure which requires one to hold the handle down until it completely flushes, and it also runs periodically. The carpet is honestly filthy and so is the couch. The chairs also heavily stained. The cleaning crew does a very good job of cleaning however they can’t remove stains from worn out carpets and furniture. There was only four spoons and four forks one dull steak knife. There were enough dishes for two people. There was a coffee machine Keurig, but they did not supply the K cups, so we could not use it. The can opener was bent and unusable. The front desk did not know what a can opener was and first gave me a knife to open a can and then a cork screw. They didn’t understand the concept of a can opener. They were foreign workers so I assume in their country they don’t use sealed cans. The fake plastic palm trees are missing the palms and they look like dead, fake palm trees. There is a shuffleboard court and table tennis. However, there are no balls and paddles and no shuffleboard disc and sticks. The exterior the building has flaking and deteriorating paint and the exterior wood is water damaged. they have a breakfast and lunch diner on site however we didn’t try it. The pool was very good and was reasonably clean.

The room was very clean. The property was very neat and orderly. Check-in and check-out were easy.

For the price I paid it was decent, but the motel is very very very old. It looks like nothing has been redone since it was first opened which I don’t mind. It was very clean but the bed was terrible. I needed 4 blankets to cushion the material so I didn’t wake up in pain. Also the blinds kept no light out at night it looked like daytime in my room all night long. If these two factors were adjusted I would most certainly stay here again.

I did not like the fact that there was no bedside lamp in my room and I like to read in bed.

I booked for a week with my family. My kids and I came down early since my husband was working. First impression was the place is completely run down. (Think seaside motels circa 1990s). Room was totally dated and who puts carpeting in a seaside motel with sand and water! Smelled musty. And hallways also had carpet so it was gross. First night we were “ok” EXCEPT woke up to sugar ants EVERYWHERE!! Luckily I had put the clothes on the other side of the room but my other stuff in the closet area were covered (including my sons baby bottles) I was disgusted and literally just cleaning and throwing everything in the shower to rinse the ants off. I went to the front desk and told them I wanted a new room immediately and have someone spray. Can you believe they asked for picture evidence…I was furious…sorry I was too busy taking care of my 2 screaming children who were freaking out and cleaning up the mess to whip out my phone!! 2nd room was the same except the mold and mildew was making us cough…luckily I travel with a nebulizer bc my daughter had an asthma attack. Next day I went down stairs and immediately checked the F out of there and went to a new hotel!! I’m fighting for my money back. I’ve never stayed in such a disgusting hotel in my life and I felt awful my kids had to endure 2 nights there. Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else…even if it costs a few $$ more!! Oh and the toilet didn’t flush unless you stood there and held it down for about 30 seconds!

Liked reasonable rates. Disliked door handle did not work, took 10 minutes to try and open. Management sprayed lock with WD 40 which only temporarily worked then back to problem opening. Blinds needs some adjustment open spaces were can see in. Towel rack in bathroom kept falling off the wall. Room needs some maintenance.

I knew going in what to expect. For our needs with four teenagers, this was fine for a few days. However, the fridge died just as soon as our groceries were put away. We switched rooms, which was fine, to discover the fridge in the new room had ants. They took care of that situation quickly and it worked out but still gross. The wall is literally crumbling around the AC unit and the bathrooms need to be gutted. The property has SUCH potential because the location is great but it seems like the owners, who I think are new, are in over their heads and don’t know what they are doing. We won’t be returning and have learned my lesson about going a little cheaper.

Don’t expect 5 star lodging. This property is old but the rooms are clean. Even though the bathroom is old school turquoise and pink porcelain and the pipes are rusted, it’s clean. Plenty of towels. No sand on the tile is the living area and our socks and bare feet stayed clean. AC unit cooled the whole unit efficiently. Staff friendly and accommodating. On-site restaurant serving breakfast and lunch. Pool clean. Small gift shop with sun essentials.

We loved our stay! Everyone was so nice. The only downside was no ice machine available on the property.
