新築の台所付きアパート。昨年秋に貸し出しを始めたばかりなので、台所、寝室、バスルームすべてがピカピカ。駐車場はまだ工事が進行中。人口の少ないカンガルー島なので、本格的なスーパーのあるKingscoteまでは30分のドライブが必要。この不便さがこの地域の魅力の一つだろう。部屋からは朝日が昇るのをベッドの中から見ることができる。オーナーの部屋設計の気遣いが楽しい。誰でも気に入るアパートだ。

Kevin, the property owner was very friendly and helpful. I was stuck on the island unexpectedly due to bush fires on the mainland and Kevin assisted me throughout. Apartment itself had everything needed for both short and long stay. Beautiful location allowed for an amazing sunrise view as advertised.

Sunrise on Faile offered a wonderful stay! The apartment was spacious, clean, the kitchen greatly appointed, the views beautiful and the birds were spectacular!

Yes the room was spotless

Beautiful views over the estuary, walking distance to restaurants and walking trails, and to top it off, a koala Mum and baby in the tree at the bottom of the street. Just wonderful.

This was a beautiful well appointed property set in a peaceful oasis with a gorgeous view. Kevin was very informative and responsive to requests. Would definitely recommend.

Our accomodation was spacious clean and very comfortable. We had a patio setting outside with a view to the river so we could watch the sunset with a glass of wine. Highly recommend

Kevin the host is very friendly, greeted us on the night we checked in, pointed out the Koala bear in a nearby tree, then said goodbye the morning before we checked out. The house is well equipped with all kinds of kitchen spices, even an expresso machine! The cozy living room with books, the private deck at sunrise with birds singing and flying all around… all makes it a lovely vacation getaway in a luxury country house setting.

Wonderful 2 bedroom property. We enjoyed breakfast on the outdoor patio with water view and listening to and watching the Gahla Cockateels . Near views of wild kangaroos at dusk on the open land just off the main highway prior to American River turn-off.

We loved walking up to the birds singing and the beautiful sky. The place offers a great view. The Glossy Black Restaurant was delicious and within walking distance.

Our hosts were there for us, start to finish! Great local knowledge but unobtrusive. The accommodation is first rate and fully kitted out. Nothing in the kitchen is missing for whatever your self-catering needs. And with views of the bay throughout the day to make you get out the camera or just sit on the wraparound balcony and look.

Very friendly owner. Hard not to fall in love with KI. And the location of this place was perfect for our travels around on the island. Very spacious apartment. Very well equipped kitchen and bathroom. A clear and conscious environmental idea was oozing through the whole place - live in and with nature. Can only wholeheartedly recommend
