Overall I enjoyed the stay in this hotel. The rooms are clean, breakfast is delicious and the scenary of the neiborhood (Blackheath) is peace and quiet. However, conditions in the room need to be improved. I could not completey shut the window - the window locker (crescent) was creaky and wind was easily blowing to the room. This would especially affect our stay negatively especially in winter season.

Great location, easy car parking, very close to station, short walk through the park to Greenwich. Great breakfast.

Have stayed at the Clarendon several times. Very convenient location to Greenwich, and only a short walk from Blackheath railway station. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and even though we’ve had a couple of minor issues during our stay this has always been resolved promptly. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. The rooms at the front can be noisy because of the traffic, but they have a lovely view over the Heath. Breakfast is excellent.

Very tired decor, wallpaper peeling of the walls in places, stained bed linen, the kettle was still full from the last guest and contained black stuff which put me off using it. bathroom was tiny but fine, for £170 I think its very steep for the state of the place in general, I didn't need or use the breakfast as I had a very early start, but it would be nice to choose a room only option. I wouldn't use again bad value for money

Budget : Un excellent rapport qualité-prix pour une famille de 4 personnes. Emplacement stratégique : Proximité immédiate de la gare, permettant de rejoindre le centre de Londres en seulement 15 minutes. Gastronomie locale : Excellents restaurants à proximité, notamment l'indien voisin (astuce : prenez à emporter pour bénéficier d'une réduction et de portions plus généreuses !). ⚠️ Les points d'attention (Les "Moins") Le Parking : Bien que présent, il est souvent complet. Prévoyez un budget de secours pour le parking de la gare si vous rentrez tard. Isolation phonique : Le simple vitrage des chambres en rez-de-jardin laisse passer les bruits extérieurs. Nuisances aériennes : L'hôtel étant dans l'axe de l'aéroport, les premiers vols de 5h30 peuvent perturber le sommeil des dormeurs légers. Côté sucré : Le choix au petit-déjeuner est un peu limité pour ceux qui ne sont pas fans d'œufs et de bacon.

The Hotel is very well situated, the rooms were great and food good, public areas clean and tidy maybe a little tired BUT its fantastic value for money

parking on site was offered as part of the deal but when we arrived the car park was full and we had to find another space away from the hotel. Our room was okay; a bit on the small size but for one night this didn't cause a problem. The staff were all, without exception, very keen to help and were all extremely polite and welcoming

Lovely location - Blackheath Village is a very pleasant part of London with beautiful cafes, small shops and bars. Some of the rooms in the the hotel look out over Blackheath. The room I stayed in unfortunately didn’t. Although the room was a reasonable size and the bed comfortable, it was very hot. There was a very noisy wall-mounted fan which wasn’t used on account of the noise it made. The ground floor location at the back of the hotel looked directly on to a car park. For security, the window therefore only opened a tiny amount. The room was also quite dark. The breakfast is excellent. Although this sounds rather negative, I have chosen to stay at The Clarendon a few times - I can put up with the gloomy room as it’s really just a place to sleep etc! I would stay here again as it is good value for London and easy to access from Central London. There’s even a night bus from Trafalgar Sq which stops right outside the hotel.
