Warm welcome and great old fashioned room. Just as expected. Evening meal was first class as was breakfast A very enjoyable stay again.

Room was cleaned regularly. Staff treated me fantastic. Breakfast was great and the portions were excellent

Great place to stay. I had a comfy bed and pillows, and my room was spotless. Staff were great, especially Tracy who really went the extra mile.

Can’t fault this place. Perfect if you want a peaceful stopover on the way to visit customers.

Friendly staff, good menu choice, good beer.

Have stayed a number of times over about 10 years or so - is consistently good. Staff are always friendly and helpful, food is excellent and very good local beer is available. The rooms are small but do what is needed and have always been clean. This is a proper traditional country pub and we need more of them!

The room was clean and comfortable, not at all noisy. We had dinner in the restaurant which was delicious and very reasonably priced. The team at the Four Horseshoes were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was very good too, large portions and a big pot of tea. We had a really relaxing break.

What an excellent country pub. We have a lovely steak meal and used the garden to sit outside and have a drink before retiring to our room. The staff were welcoming, attentive and friendly.Breakfast was well cooked and very enjoyable. Our room was lovely and clean but the toilet flush didn’t work as well as it should. Overall we had lovely meals and a great stay made better by the welcoming friendly and attentive staff

The food was outstanding, tasty, well presented and good proportions. The experience over was lovely. I found the roof height rather low and banged my head more than enough times on the low roof beams. There are signs all over saying watch your head, but when looking down to mis the beams and another even lower one comes up, well I must say, I had a head banging time :)
