I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel! Hosts were kind and welcoming, room was cozy and kitchenette was well equipped. They offered us welcome treats and board games were also available. I can definitely recommend to stay this place for several nights. Only thing you should be aware of is, that there’s no restaurants or shops nearby. You must bring your own food.

The garage was an amazing apartment. The room was large enough for my family (2 adults, 2 kids) with fully equipped kitchen. The bed was very comfortable and we slept longer than expected. The view from the apartment is also very nice. In the back side, there is a waterfall and in front side, there is a sea. Only 10 minutes drive to Seljalandsfoss. And the hosts are very friendly!!

オーナーさんの温かさとセンスの良さが表れたお宿。 部屋の細かいところに、オーナーさんのこだわりや趣味、気遣いが光る。 アイスランドには、シンプルイズベストな考え方の宿が多いが、ここは、けっこう装飾されており、それが楽しめる。 設備は文句なし。大きなシンクや、使い勝手の良いシャワー室など、水回りも満足。 景色は申し分ない。窓からは湖（？）が望め、背後にはアイスランドならではの急勾配の山が迫る。寒ささえ気にならなければ、テラスでの朝食は最高。 僕たちが泊まったときは、オーナーさん手作りのチョコレートケーキがテーブルに置いてあった。うれしい心遣い。 あと、遊び好きの犬がいます。雨の中、ボール投げ拾いをして遊びました。

かわいくて、清潔感のあるとてもいい宿でした。周辺に何もないため、食料を調達していく必要があります。 そういった情報も、事前にメールで知らせてくれ、とても助かりました。 裏には滝、目の前には湖とアイスランドらしい自然を楽しみながら滞在できたのもよかったです。

Le studio est charmant avec un style très atypique qui nous a beaucoup plu. Mais ce que j’ai préféré se sont les petites attentions: Un livret expliquant l’histoire du lieu et des conseils sur les choses à visiter (ou goûter) dans les environs. Un petit livre sur les contes et légendes islandaises. Et enfin un gâteau maison disponible dans la salle commune. L’endroit sent bon l’authenticité, nous avons adoré!

Enjoyed our stay

An exceptional stay in Southern Iceland. It was magical and the only way to understand it is to go stay in the Garage Apartments. Hike to waterfall, play with dogs, enjoy the sounds of the birds.

What a beautiful property and an incredible, tranquil location! We enjoyed the gorgeous scenery taking walks around the area. The host was welcoming, communicative, and helpful. The rooms themselves are large and clean with a full kitchen and all the necessary amenities.

This place is beautiful. We stayed in a room with a kitchenette and it was stocked with everything you'd need to make breakfast or dinner. They used no scents so they were very allergy friendly. The family who owned the property were very friendly as well. We were even able to do laundry there for an extra fee! The property was beautiful, ocean out the windows with a waterfall in the back. Would highly recommend this place!

Absolutely charming farmhouse property with view of ocean - peaceful setting, really appreciated the warm welcome at reception by the owner who was friendly and had fresh baked cake for guests on arrival, which was a nice touch. Amazing hot tub, fully equipped kitchen with access to larger kitchen in main building if needed as well as a BBQ- you are literally staying on a farm!

Excellent, excellent place, highly recommended for anyone traveling the south coast! Beautiful location in a farm with an amazing view of the Holtsós lake. Hosts were friendly and helpful, Anna even baked a cake that the guests could help themselves to! No included breakfast otherwise. Rooms were decently spacious and very cozy, with an included cooking area complete with a sink, stovetop, and oven. Room is complete with a patio with views of the lake. Hot water is limited so be mindful. Only real complaint is that it is about a 30 minute drive from Vik, however there are other nearer places to eat. Overall strongly recommend staying here.

The Garage is the most adorable place to stay! The owners are amazing and the rooms are clean and unique! I would stay there again!

Særdeles hyggeligt sted der ligger isoleret fra larm og til gengæld lige ved at springvand og den islandske natur. Anna var nok en af de flinkeste hotelejere jeg er stødt på. Virkelig godt!!!
